Who would rather face in a short series? It’s up for grabs right now, but the most likely candidates are the Giants and Reds. Just looking at pitchers, I’d say Reds, but their ballpark kind of scares me with their hitters.
Since that requires the Giants losing three straight to the Diamondbacks.
Still, we’re very fortunate to be playing against the Phillies in games that are meaningless for them while the Padres and Giants face each other. We don’t have to do much in that last series if we win tomorrow.
It was an awesome experience. That ball park is so friendly. Some of the younger kiddo’s would walk down and lean over the short wall and talked to some of the players between innings. Where can you do that without having the ushers on your tail? By far the friendliest ball park around. It’s also small compared to most, and is always full of fans cheering on their team no matter how far back in the standings they are.
I love Fenway, and it’s definitely a ballpark you should visit, but it’s not actually a great place to see a game since the sight lines and seats suck so much…

I’m hearing he was injured recently, but is anyone perplexed regarding his playing time and position in the batting order?
He’s been arguably the most productive catcher in the NL this year, yet Koyie Hill has gotten more starts than a backup catcher usually gets. And what’s even more puzzling is that he’s rarely hit in the 3-5 spots, despite down years from Ramirez and Lee. The good majority of his playing time was in the 6-8 spots. It’s really weird. Maybe trying to get better draft picks…
This qualifying for the playoffs watch (and west coast games) are not conducive to beauty sleep.

But if Hinske doesn’t get a start in at least one of those Phillies games, I’m going to freak. I understand he’s a defensively liability, but he can’t possibly be MUCH worse. Getting him some AB’s could prove to be huge. Without his single in the 11th last night and his heroics tonight, the Braves likely lose both of those games.
….beat up on possibly the worst starter in the league. I know he’s been decent against the Braves, but the Braves are due for an offensive explosion and it seems like it happens often on the last game of a series for some reason.
Give McCann some rest, and beat up on a very bad pitcher. Just hope Lowe can give us a decent shot to win on short rest like Huddy did tonight. Braves win tomorrow and I’m back to being pretty excited and in that ‘anything goes’ frame of mind if they make the playoffs.

running the PP and was a plus player. keeping your goaltending healthy would be a refreshing change, but I think the big thing is do taveras, moulson, and bailey all improve or have a sophomore slump like bryan little did for the thrashers last year.

If the Braves lead both the Giants and Padres in the WC on Friday, then that means they only have to win one game against the Phillies to clinch? Since the two teams are playing each other, that means that the team who loses that series will only win one game at most. Does that sound right?

I've been to Wrigley
It was an awesome experience. That ball park is so friendly. Some of the younger kiddo’s would walk down and lean over the short wall and talked to some of the players between innings. Where can you do that without having the ushers on your tail? By far the friendliest ball park around. It’s also small compared to most, and is always full of fans cheering on their team no matter how far back in the standings they are.

I love Fenway, and it’s definitely a ballpark you should visit, but it’s not actually a great place to see a game since the sight lines and seats suck so much…

I’m hearing he was injured recently, but is anyone perplexed regarding his playing time and position in the batting order?
He’s been arguably the most productive catcher in the NL this year, yet Koyie Hill has gotten more starts than a backup catcher usually gets. And what’s even more puzzling is that he’s rarely hit in the 3-5 spots, despite down years from Ramirez and Lee. The good majority of his playing time was in the 6-8 spots. It’s really weird. Maybe trying to get better draft picks…

Ok, now all they have to do is....
….beat up on possibly the worst starter in the league. I know he’s been decent against the Braves, but the Braves are due for an offensive explosion and it seems like it happens often on the last game of a series for some reason.
Give McCann some rest, and beat up on a very bad pitcher. Just hope Lowe can give us a decent shot to win on short rest like Huddy did tonight. Braves win tomorrow and I’m back to being pretty excited and in that ‘anything goes’ frame of mind if they make the playoffs.
