If it's Monday, then it's the Atlanta Braves fan confidence poll "Classic." As always, this poll and therefore your confidence level should encompasses several areas of the team. These areas include, but are not limited to, the team’s ownership, current management, talent, minor-league system, and general playing ability on the field. The poll will stay open for 48 hours, and then the results will be posted and graphed against the previous weeks.

Dropping
to a 7… Too low? Probably. But still frustrated.
frozendesert - July 26, 2010
Still a confident 9.0
Joseph_C - July 26, 2010
Still a 10
A small rough patch this past 10 games, but still in first by 5 games. The Phils did not gain any ground as they were 5-5 also. I still like the trade and Heyward is coming around. The power will come back, now that he is finding his stroke again, a la Glaus in spring training and April. He is taking walks and getting on base, which is the job of the #2 hitter. Some hiccups from the starters, all in the same week, but thiose things happen from time-to-time. We still have an abundance of talent in the minors, so what’s not to love?

I'm still at an 8...
Though I must say the thought of clicking on the 7 surfaced for the first time in a while.
DolphinNation - July 26, 2010
Same here.
John Holton - July 26, 2010
lets have a nate mcclouth confidence poll
StottsEra - July 26, 2010
I don’t think that the SB Nation poll range can go from (10, – ∞).
frozendesert - July 26, 2010
yeah what they said!
bravestatoo - July 26, 2010
-100
hawves - July 26, 2010
I’m beginning to get intimidated everytime Heyward comes up to bat again..
bwellnjonesco - July 26, 2010
dropped from a 10 to 9
but that’s pretty reactionary. Bobby’s questionable pinch running/jesse chavezing did it more than McFail. Guess you gotta show your age sometimes :P
GTNate - July 26, 2010
8
I went down to 8 from 9 in disgust at all the double plays with the bases loaded and the presence of Nate McLouth on the roster. I hope to go higher next week after Wren swings a big trade for an impact outfield bat.
redwards95 - July 26, 2010
As long Nate is on this team, my score will always be below a 5
AlRoBraves95 - July 26, 2010
We are good enough to win, even w’ Nate.
Joseph_C - July 27, 2010
8
DFA McLouth, back to 9
CharlotteChop - July 26, 2010
As confident as I am,
I’m only as confident as our weakest links (Chavez and McOut)…..
Chief Noc-A-Homa - July 26, 2010
Heh, McOut. Nice one.
Sparhawk - July 26, 2010
I feel worse this week
but thinking about it, in all 3 games we lost, the braves came back from a deficit, scored runs, and looked good except for the last-at-bat losses. But those will happen, and hopefully we can get the bullpen jitters out now, and continue with good bullpen work for the rest of the season. I’m still happy with our offense (except for McOut) and our starting pitching looks decent. Never thought we’d ahve a week where pitching was the reason we lost games. (and double plays too, but whatever).
Xshare - July 26, 2010
From a 9 to an 8, worried about managements eyes, I could see McLouth sucked in spring training, April, May, June and July, don’t understand why they need another week.
bighop - July 26, 2010
Still holding at a 9. We have had a bad week, and are still in 1st place and have the best record in NL.
justincredubil02 - July 26, 2010
Still an 8. These things happen over the course of 162 games. I don’t think we are any better or worse than we were before the Marlins series. We just have to go out and sweep the Nats now.
BullManUGA - July 26, 2010
until we figure out what to do with McLouth
im going to have to go with a 7…. if it was a Melky/Blanco platoon i woulda gone 8… if it was Brooksy in center i may have gone 9 since hes sooooo clutch
ChitownBravos - July 26, 2010
Still a 9
But may switch to 10 if the Braves can get rid of McSuckass.
UMDBHIK - July 26, 2010
Still an 8
and remain an 8 until Nate begins to contribute to the team, or is out of the line up.
HEYJUDE - July 26, 2010
Heyward
could you do something about that?
hawves - July 26, 2010
He tried once. That pesky bugger bounced back though.
justincredubil02 - July 27, 2010
8
Leaving out the 9-game losing streak, I’ve been an 8 since like…last August I think. Full-fledged 9 if Wren finds a way to get Bossman Junior.
Weldon - July 26, 2010
IF....
we call-up Blanco, DFA McLouth, send Chavez down and call up Kimbrel, I’d be at a 10.
Still a 9 for me. What’s not to love about this franchise right now?
Scott Coleman - July 26, 2010
Its location is an inconvenience.
UMDBHIK - July 26, 2010
I’d be down for them to move 2,000 miles west.
Scott Coleman - July 27, 2010
The Braves must stay in Georgia. Growing up there, (now exiled to Florida) I’m positive that they wouldn’t fit in anywhere else. The Braves will forever belong in GA—because the South is the place to be.
Joseph_C - July 27, 2010
If you want to split hairs, then technically they belong in either Boston or Milwaukee before they belong in Atlanta.
They oughta move back to Milwaukee, and the Brewers can move down to Atlanta. I would like that very much.
