It appears the suspension has given Johnny a new, grizzled look on life. No longer is he the perky rookie with jacked up socks, but now the baggy pants veteran with the stern outlook on life. Thanks MLB.
If he’s in the clubhouse advising these guys and playing cheerleader for the rest of the season, it wouldn’t hurt us too much. Our offense doesn’t revolve around him like it used to.
He’s a HOF, and he’s had a great career. I’m just indifferent to him and his production. Having Heyward pound the ball around the field is more important at this point, and getting some production out of the OF & SS.
