I seriously don’t know why so many people are pining for Andrus this year. Andrus is an elite defensive shortstop with decent on base skills and zero power.
This year, Yunel Escobar is having an elite defensive season with decent on base skills (.334) and no power.
Two years from now, we’ll we wish we had Andrus, but he’s no upgrade over Yunel in the present.
