If it's Monday, then it's the Atlanta Braves fan confidence poll. As always, this poll and therefore your confidence level should encompasses several areas of the team. These areas include, but are not limited to, the team’s ownership, current management, talent, minor-league system, and general playing ability on the field. The poll will stay open for 48 hours, and then the results will be posted and graphed against the previous weeks.

Fine
I’ll finally jump up to an 8
bpk228480 - June 7, 2010
Still an 8
Joseph_C - June 7, 2010
I made a mistake and hit 1
Gondeee can you please change mine to an 8 please?
Jay212033 - June 7, 2010
I hit 8 and meant 1, so we even out.
Just messin’. I’m still at an 8. If we continue winning series, it won’t be long before I’m a 9! o.0
Sparhawk - June 7, 2010
Pretty much vote 8 consistently. Just have confidence in the organization as a whole, therefore my vote doesn’t decrease in times of team slumps. That being said, I’m looking forward to raising my vote higher when the playoffs roll around & the Bravos are WS bound.

With Prado and Heyward nursing sore hands and Chipper seemingly a lock to go on the DL, I have to go down to a 7. My confidence could be boosted by sending down Chavez and McLouth.

Still at 10
After another great week. Splitting with the Dodgers, after sweeping the Phllies. A 9 game win streak. Heyward in a mini slump and yet we keep on winnng. Glaus is back to his old self (maybe even slightly better) Can we sign him up for next year yet?
The pitching is even better than expected. The starters are coming around and the pen, which was considered the big question mark before the season, is dynamite overall. (The exception of Chavez is duly noted.) many of our top prospects continue to develop.
If we can just score 5 runs every game,….
DawgB - June 7, 2010
Went up to a 9, why the hell not. Although if you vote higher than a 5 you’re a fool.
10-4 - June 7, 2010
Don’t you mean lower than a 5?
Sparhawk - June 7, 2010
go back two confidence polls to see what he’s talking about
bpk228480 - June 7, 2010
M 8 stands.
The nagging injuries concern me a bit (hands, hams, thumbs etc) so I hope we can get these guys healthy soon!
NCChopper - June 7, 2010
Wholeheartedly agree on Chavez demotion
He really sucks. Michael Dunn would look much better in his spot, but he has to get some innings or they won’t call him up. Prospects need innings, long reliever scrub dubs, they dont worry about (Chavez, C. Martizez)
I don’t know what to do with McLouth…he’s probably out of options.
Rick Z - June 7, 2010
Yeah
There wouldn’t be as much of a problem if all Chavez was getting were huge deficit or huge lead innings. But as it stands, he’s getting trusted with pitching in extra innings. McLouth’s contract can be bought out for 1.25 million next year; I assume that will be the path the Braves choose if he continues this performance. McLouth has been absolutely atrocious in his time with the Braves, going back to last season.
frozendesert - June 7, 2010
Say what?...
McLouth’s buyout is AFTER next season I think.
Mr. Sanchez - June 7, 2010
My Bad...
I looked at Cot’s incorrectly
frozendesert - June 7, 2010
This^^^^^
Nevermind a demotion. DFA him. Leave Kimbrel up to learn from Wags, and when JJ comes back off the DL, demote Martinez.
DolphinNation - June 7, 2010
I don’t know if anyone else looks at BA’s prospect hot sheets every week, but when we have 4 or 5 of the hottest pitchers in the minors week in and week out, I’m pretty confident in the organization. That’s what put me at 10.
telemakhos - June 7, 2010
My vote would be a little higher number if our bullpen had some combination of Resop, Dunn and Gearrin instead of
Beavis and ButtheadRen and StimpyDumb and DumberChavez and MartinezRhyno18 - June 7, 2010
Back down to an 8. Splitting on the road with LA is fine and dandy (like sour candy), but Chavez and Martinez both need to be demoted…Bobby’s bullpen management may have cost us the series win.
Smoltz's Beard - June 7, 2010
Mismanage a bullpen? Robert J Cox? This is blasphemy. I want this guy banned!
10-4 - June 7, 2010
I know this is a new and frightening idea (and the very first time someone has brought it up), but sometimes the truth hurts.
Smoltz's Beard - June 7, 2010
Sour candy…what kind of sour candy? (i like lemonheads)
MBL1 - June 7, 2010 via mobile
Have you tried....
Lemonheads and Friends. I kinda like the chewy stuff myself.
DawgB - June 7, 2010
Oh yes i love lemonheads & friends. I like to pretend the little candies are screaming when i start to eat them.
MBL1 - June 7, 2010 via mobile
Also, Chewy Runts and Chewy Nerds, although I can’t find them in a big bag, just that expensive ($.85) vending machine size at work.
DawgB - June 7, 2010
Yeah I love those too :D
MBL1 - June 7, 2010
I like plain bread, with a glass of water on the side for dippin’!
BullManUGA - June 7, 2010
...
Smoltz's Beard - June 7, 2010
I voted an 8. We should have won 3 of 4 but I’ll take a split. Time to beat up on a shitttttttttty Arizona bullpen. Maybe we can get a few more guys demoted on their staff.
BullManUGA - June 7, 2010
A split with the other hottest team in the league, to start the road trip is good. Of course 3/4 would have been better. But the Diamondbacks should provide for at least 3 more wins before heading to Minnesota.
DawgB - June 7, 2010
Still a 9
Two words: Number One
romone_braves91 - June 7, 2010
Going 8
We need to have another good week and I’ll go nine. We have to almost sweep these first 4 this week because Minnesota isn’t going to be easy.
jdeuel3868 - June 7, 2010
I voted 1
this team isn’t that good.
