Gwinnett 7, Durham 2
Tampa Bay's top pitching prospect Jeremy Hellickson dominated the G-Braves through 6, allowing just 1 earned run, but the team managed to score 5 in the bottom of the 8th on a 2 run double by Joe Thurston and a 2 run single by Luis Bolivar, who was plated by Wes Timmons. Jair Jurrjens' first rehab start didn't go so well, as he allowed 8 baserunners in just 2.2 innings. Fortunately his bullpen backed him up with with 6.1 scoreless innings. Matt Young stays hot with 13 hits in his last 26 at bats.
Mississippi 3, Chattanooga 11
Jacob Thompson had was has unfortunately become a typical start for him, adding in the odd stat of not recording a single strikeout in 5 innings. Over his last 7 starts he has a 7.30 ERA. Chris Anderson is one of the more likeable guys in the organization, though he rarely plays. Since signing in 2007, he's played in just 78 games and had just 197 at bats. He's played in just 6 games this year after spending the first half of the season inactive, serving as Mississippi's bullpen catcher.
Myrtle Beach - Off
Rome 4, Savannah 10
Robby Hefflinger managed to plate 2 runs without a hit, one on a ground out and the second on a sacrifice fly. Jace Whitmer's transition from catcher to first base hasn't been without it's bumps, as he committed 2 errors tonight. Brett Devall is still recovering from offseason surgery and he was bound to have a start like this sooner or later.

Won 4-3 in 15 innings.
2 hits for old man Luna.
Salcedo, 2-6, 1 r, 2 rbi, a walk and 2 k’s, and an error
Hector Garcia went 4-6
Abraham Espinosa went 6 innings, 4 hits, 3 Ks, no walks, 1 run
And the last two relievers were great; Carlos Torres went 3.2 innings, 3 hits, 1 K, no runs or walks and Enrique Medina went 3 innings, 2 hits, 1 k, no runs or walks.
Salcedo we all know. Garcia turns 18 on the 19th, is a switch hitting CF from Columbia, 6’2 170 and according to PWHjort was a 6 figure bonus guy. He struggled last year, but is doing great this year. Torres is a 6’2/205 righty from Venezuela in his 3 year and has posted good numbers as a reliever the last two years. Medina is a 5’11/180 lefty from Nicaragua.

Garcia
Almaraz stated before last season that Garcia had the potential to start in the GCL. Also not tryin to nitpick but Salcedo had 2 errors.
