and I am entitled to mine. I think our team is playing really poorly and something needs to be done to turn things around. It is still early enough to where a move could have a big impact and turn things around.
What do you think our record will be in 2 months without a change of some kind?
I will make a note of this and I will eat a big pile of crow if we are 2 games back of the Phillies in 2 months without making a major move to bolster our lineup.

Our lineup isn’t horrible, but a lot of our lineup is playing pretty horribly at this point. Chipper, McLouth, Glaus, Diaz and the like are hitting worse than they should be. If they hit like they normally do, we’ll be fine.
is a lot to ask for. If we made a move and brought in a great hitter, it would do a ton to turn things around right now IMO. With Prado and Heyward playing so well, the addition of one more big bat might be enough to jump start the offense. It’s obviously not a guarantee, but sticking with what we have now is not going to get the job done IMO.
You know, I would have been fine with Ross breaking up the no-no but still losing 2-0 (alright, not really). The fact that it was tied by Heyward only to have our fucking offense shit the bed again makes it even worse.

I should have qualified that by saying we are "playing like" one of the worst teams in baseball...
What pisses me off is that this team had the potential to be an elite team this year. If I thought we were going to suck, I would not be all that disappointed that we ended up being a bad team. Some help on offense and our pitchers getting healthy/more consistent and we could be really good.

Depends on if our hitters start hitting to their potential or not
Our lineup isn’t horrible, but a lot of our lineup is playing pretty horribly at this point. Chipper, McLouth, Glaus, Diaz and the like are hitting worse than they should be. If they hit like they normally do, we’ll be fine.

All of those guys turning things around...
is a lot to ask for. If we made a move and brought in a great hitter, it would do a ton to turn things around right now IMO. With Prado and Heyward playing so well, the addition of one more big bat might be enough to jump start the offense. It’s obviously not a guarantee, but sticking with what we have now is not going to get the job done IMO.
