Talking Chop

After the plummeting of confidence last week following the 9-game losing streak, the Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence Rating rebounded quite nicely this week, due in large part to the sweep of the Astros. The FCP started the season at a very optimistic 83%, then waffled in the 70's for the next two weeks before it's huge drop to 51% last week. The rebound this week takes it up to 64%.

If the Braves can manage to win the rubber game of the Nationals series today, and then somehow take 2 of 3 from the Phillies this weekend, then we might see that confidence level jump back over 70%. The key this year is to keep it high. That will tell us that the team is playing consistently good baseball, unlike the EKG-like graph from last year which was up one week then down the next over and over.
