So, looking through the pitch-by-pitch data on Gameday, Hanley’s gotten screwed over twice with called strikes in full counts. It stinks that the Umps are handing a perfect game bid to him.

Coghlan also got screwed over to start the game with a full count.

Gameday and Gamecast are BS on their strikezones.

Sometimes they do seem to be miscalibrated. It’s all I’ve got to go on, though.

I was watching part of the game earlier and they weren’t calling anything out of the ordinary. The Marlins seem to be swinging at everything though.

marlins pitcher just got screwed over again. He threw a curve that was a little outside but Halladay threw the same pitch that was called strike three to coghlan.

They showed all of his strikeouts and 2 of the called looking ones were pretty clearly balls.

I know one of those had to be Hanley’s where it was a full count. Hanley seems to have been screwed over twice with a full count.

I’ve always found the Pacific theater more interesting, plus I liked the way they shot the miniseries. Very disjointed…alot like the war itself.

And I found the continuity of Band of Brothers more interesting. Both are great shows though. The Pacific theater has unfortunately never received the same coverage as the European campaign.

Yeah, BoB was more of a conventional story. I just really applauded them for taking a risk for TP.
