Props to Jay212033 (via Bill Shanks of TheBravesShow.com) for the info.
Pitcher: Mike Minor, Kyle Cofield, Erik Cordier, Richard Sullivan, Scott Diamond, Lee Hyde, Brett Butts, Brandon Beachy, Tommy Palica, Mike Broadway, Stephen Marek, Jacob Thompson
Catchers: Orlando Mercado, Benji Johnson
Infielders: Mauro Gomez, Juan Gonzalez, Luis Bolivar, Donnell Linares, Eric Duncan, Travis Jones
Outfielders: Cody Johnson, Alex Romero, Concepcion Rodriguez, Willie Cabrera
As far as I know, this is the first time it's been noted that Romero is with the Braves. Romero was once a top prospect in the Twins organization and played 144 games for the Diamondbacks between 08 and 09, hitting just .239 with a .619 OPS.
So that gives a complete picture of the Braves full season affiliates to start the season. This week Talking Chop will have season previews for each of the teams.

Alex Romero.
This young man (26 yrs of age) looks like some serious organizational depth. Plays all OF positions. Hits for avg. Some power. Some speed. IMO, can’t really read too much into only 299 ML PAs, especially since his stat line in 313 AAA games / 1349 PAs includes: 69 2B 13 3B 10 HR 158 RBI .309 Avg .360 OBP .411 SLG .772 OPS.
Freddie Freeman. By process of elimination, it looks like he’s going to Gwinnett. Maybe not a big surprise, but Wow!

Where is Schafer? I know he’ll be on the DL but where was he assigned too?
JKowalek - April 4, 2010
I think he’s on the Major League DL, which means they don’t have to assign him to any minor league team. I’m sure once he’s healthy he’ll play with Gwinnett.

Yeah I figured when he was ready he would be there. Thanks CB.

Hey CB. Any idea where Brett Devall ended up?
McCann and McWill - April 4, 2010
It looks like Brett will begin the year in Extended Spring Training. It’s possible he just wasn’t ready to start the season after recovering from his injury. When he’s healthy, and there’s room at Rome, he’ll go there.

Thank you.
That guy is from my hometown I have to keep up with him.
McCann and McWill - April 4, 2010
He’s a great kid, I’m rooting for him.

just wondering
it seems like every kid in the Braves’ organization is a great kid or something similar; in your opinion…are there any guys who aren’t so great in our system? any douchebags or guys with ego problems?
Scott Coleman - April 4, 2010
Ive heard Vizcaino isnt the greatest guy...
esadb - April 4, 2010
He wasn’t, but I think he’s coming around. Certain teams go out of their way to feed players egos, but the Braves don’t, they focus on the team, not the player. July Teheran has taken Vizcaino under his wing and is systematically showing him the Braves way.

Honestly, now that Eric Campbell is out of the system, nobody really jumps to mind. He was the only guy recently that I really didn’t have much love for. And I don’t think Adam Coe is with the team anymore either, so there’s another one. There are a few guys who probably think a little more of themselves than they should, but when you actually take a few minutes and talk with them they’re good people. I really don’t think there is another organization that does more to look into players’ character.

Niceville
I was trying to remember correctly. Is Devall from Niceville? I remember he was fairly local to me but can’t remember exactly which town it was.
