Every other Friday this off-season Talking Chop presents the Atlanta Braves fan confidence poll. This poll and therefore your confidence level should encompasses several areas of the team. These areas include, but are not limited to, the team’s ownership, current management, talent, minor-league system, general playing ability on the field, and of course during the off-season, how our off-season is going. The poll will stay open for 48 hours, and then the results will be posted and graphed against the previous weeks.
After you vote remember to pick up your copy of the Talking Chop 2010 Baseball Annual.

No GAnderson or GNorton = a 10. I love the potential for pwnage.
And p.s., when did Gorecki go over to his Yankees? I never even heard aboot that.

My vote went up due to not signing GA as well
The Beard - March 5, 2010
No Damon, no Pujols, not even FUGA or Dye...
I’m still voting 1.
But seriously, I love the current mix of young and old in Atlanta, plus the depth of talent coming up from the low minors. Makes a homer feel pretty confident going forward.

I am not giving anything better than a 6 until I see...
how are bullpen and hitting looks and if Heyward is playing in the majors. Also, I would like to see how the new additions to our minors from the Yankees look as well. I want to know our future is bright. Oh and I am a bit unsure of life after Bobby for next year.

I'm thinking if we win the Series, Bobby will be back, Jack.
Chief Noc-A-Homa - March 5, 2010
No way. That is the perfect way to go out, not the perfect reason to drag it out.
justincredubil02 - March 5, 2010
Yeah, but I was thinking Bobby was older, for some reason. He’s still got some spring left.
Either way, it would be cool. : )

cbwilk - March 5, 2010

Sam Page - March 8, 2010
How do you figure?
Eric Simon - March 8, 2010
I actually contributed the Braves preview to their annual.
gondeee - March 5, 2010
I thought about giving it away, but (1) we put in so much work that it’s sort of empty just to give it away, (2) I’m not a fan of the PDF, because (3) I like something tangible like a printed annual. Also, part of the whole point of the annual for me was to have a printed version and a printed version only. Putting something in print was part of raising the profile of the blog from just an online-only endeavor to a complete media empire/domination/apocalypse.
I kept encouraging Eric to put Amazin Avenue’s annual in print, but he started out with the goal of giving it away — different from the goal I started out with.

Speaking of...
I got an e-mail from Lulu yesterday and my order has been shipped!
dunnytwogloves - March 5, 2010
Ditto.
justincredubil02 - March 5, 2010
How much was shipping?
Gage23 - March 5, 2010
Yeah I was just messing with you
I agree…I probably wouldnt look at it if it were a pdf…
Doghnut - March 5, 2010
Went with a 9 for the first time. Jay-hey looks good so far, all of our starting pitchers had successful outings, Glaus isn’t in a wheelchair, there’s just all kinds of things to be excited about this time of year for the Braves.
alligatorimpersonator - March 5, 2010
I too am at a 9. I bumped up to that after signing Glaus and Hinske.
justincredubil02 - March 5, 2010
Where can I vote 71?
Scott Coleman - March 5, 2010 via mobile
I missed the 71 story apparently…
Gage23 - March 5, 2010
Just think about it…you’ll get it.
justincredubil02 - March 6, 2010
put on your thinking cap
you’ll figure it out within a few seconds. well, i hope so anyways…
Scott Coleman - March 6, 2010
Hahaha literally took me half a second. I just needed to be encouraged…
