Commentary: I think McLouth will improve on his 2008 numbers and rebound from his injury-riddled 2009. Diaz and Melky will stay about the same, and Heyward will come on in the second half of the season.

Can you answer me one question?
How long have you been following Heyward? Well I’m not trying to put a damper on anyones day but Heyward hasn’t played 1 full season healthy yet. While many of his injuries have been minor they have kept him out of games. Plus adding the fact that he’ll be facing the best pitching of his life that’s where my projections are coming from.

i think he’ll struggle early against good LHP, but round in to form after the ASB and start to figure it out. .285/.825/22 sounds reasonable enough to me. You are right though, you can already tell he has to work harder against left handers whereas right handers are fish in a barrel.
