The Braves visit the Mets for the first time since the first game of the spring. Tommy Hanson will take the mound and try to get the rain from ruining his start (as it did his last start).
If you're looking for some good mid-afternoon Braves talk, then check out my blog talk radio/TV appearance with the guys from HotStove.com yesterday. They're Mets fans, and I get in a good Frenchy dig about half way through.

This game is on ESPN, right?
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
yep, today, tomorrow, and friday. i got my dvr set!
10-4 - March 23, 2010
I just ran cable to my office from our main area this past week. It was partially for the NCAA Tournament and partially in preparation for baseball this week.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
What time?
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
Nm. 1:10
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
12:55
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
No Heyward.
I am bummed. I wanted to see how he would rebound from a bad day on Saturday, but first a rainout, then an off-day, and now a day off. I guess the other three OF’s need their work, but still. It takes the thrill factor out of the game.
cavebird - March 23, 2010
Great commentary gondeee - listened to the whole thing.
You represent all of us TCers around here well!
Now – GO Braves!!! I’m hoping to get the game today.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Yeah, Great Job Gondee, way to represent.
You definitely outclassed those two D-bags from NY
say-hey-j-hey - March 23, 2010
HotStove.com
Did you mean to say D-specialists as in defensive specialists. Ouch! Where’s the southern hospitality?

HAHAHAHA!
+1
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Ahh,Nate McClooth!
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
Yea, was there a recent signing I missed? I thought McLouth was playing CF this year. I guess his poor spring has caused us to sign this McLooth guy…
bashby20sh - March 23, 2010
What a geek.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
Lineup per Bowman
Cabrera 8
Prado 4
Chipper 5
Glaus 3
McCann 2
Escobar 6
Diaz 7
McLouth 8
Hanson 1
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
So who's the OF?...
is it Diaz—McLouth—Cabrera?
Mr. Sanchez - March 23, 2010
Good point let me check his blog again.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
He hasn’t corrected it yet. My guess would be Cabrera in right.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
Per DOB..
..Cabrera is in RF. At least the Braves know (unlike some sources, for example, MLB Depth Charts) that when it is McLouth, Diaz, Melky, Diaz should be in left, and Melky should be in right.
cavebird - March 23, 2010
Yep...
http://mlb.mlb.com/news/boxscore.jsp?gid=2010_03_23_atlmlb_nynmlb_1
Says Melky in RF.
Mr. Sanchez - March 23, 2010
Melky in RF and Nate in CF.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Anybody know of a video feed any more? All mine have gone by the wayside.
Bmacbandwagon - March 23, 2010
You’ll probably be able to watch it on the ESPN website.
sleezer1788 - March 23, 2010
When I find it on ESPN ill post it.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
It doesn’t look like ESPN 360 is going to post it. They only have stuff about the Phillies game tomorrow on there.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
i’m at work, so I can’t help you out with a feed. Sorry.
Did you try googling “Spring training stream”?
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Is Sports Center still on for everyone else?
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
yeap
bpk228480 - March 23, 2010
I’d give it 10 minutes. The ESPN website has it listed for 1:10.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
Ah, ok. I saw 1255 listed up above.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Yea, that was the last I heard on the radio before I entered the cave for the day. Sorry for the misleading info!
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
anyone got a radio link for this i would love to listen at work, pretty please?
fizzbot - March 23, 2010
There we go…top of the hour, says SC.

Old man Miller on the mic
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
you guys want to know the best part about this game on ESPN? No John Miller/Joe Morgan….oh, wait…
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
hahahaha….it has started:
John Miller: “OmAR MeeNIYa”.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
anyone have a link? somehow I’m failing at an ESPN link
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
WHAT??? Joe Morgan just used OBP…
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
One step closer to Sabermetrics.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
jey hey kid getting some more love
Bravely going forward - March 23, 2010
ESPN is probably miffed...
…that he isn’t in the lineup.
cavebird - March 23, 2010
There only showing us 3 out the 4 games they have this week.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
i don’t mind
Bravely going forward - March 23, 2010
Me either. And some how none of those games involve the Yanks and Sox.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
hard to imagine
Bravely going forward - March 23, 2010
anyone else see orel hershiser picking us for the wild card a few minutes ago on sportscenter?
Bravely going forward - March 23, 2010
Beuler?
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Joe Morgan

Erihury - March 23, 2010
thats hall of famer joe morgan to you
bpk228480 - March 23, 2010
Are we in commercial break?
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Ugh
What good is ESPN 360 if they aren’t going to show whats on ESPN. How am I suppose to watch this while I’m in class.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
same. I may have a link. I’ll post it if it works
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
go to atdhe.net and click on ESPN
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Awesome. Interwebs for the win.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
Did it switch to ESPN 2 for you?
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
yeah. fuck them. I’m working on another one
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Alright back to Cricket. I’ll check back.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
Great try, though.
That one actually got through the crap at work for me.
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
I’m just gonna watch a replay of the Bangledash vs England cricket match and pretend they are Braves players.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
no! don’t do it! I found a link!
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
LETS DO IT!!
Would love to put it to Perez today while Oh Tommy Boy deals! 7-2 braves
PenderMania - March 23, 2010
Perez
won 15 games like 3 years ago he must be on good right Joe
Erihury - March 23, 2010
mellllkkyyy
bpk228480 - March 23, 2010
Melky with a leadoff single up the middle.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
If he really takes to leadoff..
as his Yankee splits seem to indicate, I wonder what that does to the rest of the lineup.
Mr. Sanchez - March 23, 2010
melky sangle..
up the middle
PenderMania - March 23, 2010
Anyone know
if heyward is ok?
drumzalicious - March 23, 2010
I haven't heard anything.
Which makes me think he is fine—if there was any issue, people would be all over it. I think it is just that he was in the last two lineups (Sat and the washout Sun) and we have four OF’s who are going to see significant playing time this year. Also, facing a lefty, he could be getting a day off as part of Bobby “giving him the best chance to succeed” as Heyward is still batting .000 against lefties this spring and didn’t do so well against one Saturday. Of course, with Ollie pitching, Heyward just would have walked a lot.
cavebird - March 23, 2010
sangle prado!!
left field line
PenderMania - March 23, 2010
Its spelled Praydo when its on ESPN
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
Prado has a good AB going on…fouling off a few 0-2 pitches and now it is 2-2, and he hits a double down the LF line. OUTSTANDING job by Prado!
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
praayyyydoooo double!
bpk228480 - March 23, 2010
Prado 2b
down line. 2nd and 3rd
drumzalicious - March 23, 2010
the Mets are actually counting on this guy?
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
It must be tough to be a Met fan these days – Hershiser and Morgan are doing nothing but busting on Perez’ pitching.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
I wish I could just mute Morgan’s voice, because I love Orel
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010
Who doesn't????
jtw126 - March 23, 2010
touche
ATLforlife - March 23, 2010
I may have found this year’s boyfriend.
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
and who might that be?
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
hmmmm, better not jinx it before the season starts. ;D
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
Chipper batting with Prado on 2nd and Melky on 3rd and 0 outs.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Chippidy do dah...
chippidy ay. my o my what a wounderfull day! RBI
PenderMania - March 23, 2010

bpk228480 - March 23, 2010
Sac Fly to HWSNBN by Chipper. 1-0 Atlanta with Prado going to 3rd. 1 out for TG.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
What happened to the great cannon of French?
Mr. Sanchez - March 23, 2010
Way to go old man!
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
The pics are back, life is good
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010
lol
Garret Anderson: Key loss??
Bravely going forward - March 23, 2010
It is a key
No loss has improved our team more …
Lennox - March 23, 2010
FUGA
Is a key loss?
vooodooo - March 23, 2010
Yes, yes he is.
Losing him is a key to us doing better this year!
cavebird - March 23, 2010
Radio link anyone?
fizzbot - March 23, 2010
Morgan said we would likely see Heyward later in the game?
Is this a tease or does the man know of what he speaks?
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
^ ^
Just askin’ again…in case no one saw my inquiry.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
I wouldn't think so
I don’t just Joe Morgan to know…well, much of anything, really.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
He never knows what he is saying…..but even a blind squirrel….know what I’m sayin’….
demsei - March 23, 2010
Glaus works the count full on a VERY suspect 2-2 pitch ruled a ball.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
and he foul-tip Ks. 2 out for Heap with Prado still on 3rd.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
uggh he missed three fastballs on that ab
bpk228480 - March 23, 2010
is it 750 or 790 in atlanta?
fizzbot - March 23, 2010
Almost forgot..
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
I know we are sill waaaay too early in his career, but what are your guys thoughts on McCann as a HOF’er
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010
Way too early to even attempt to think about that one.
If he kept up what he is doing and stayed at catcher for 12 more years or so, yeah. But catchers have the shortest shelf-life of any position, so we’ll just have to see.
cavebird - March 23, 2010
Nah, let's just take the drama out of this one
Put him in the HOF right now. Induct him ASAP. Why bother waiting?
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Ditto this with Heyward
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010
Wait, Wait
He’s not already in the hall of fame?
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
They haven't renamed it the Hall of Heyward-esque yet
So I’m guessing they’re still a little behind.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
I know its super early, but I like to think about it sometimes. Haha.
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010
Catchers are tough. So much wear and tear, hard to predict.
but you know otherwise, FIRST BALLOT HOF.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
If he wins 2 World Series, maybe.
Mr. Sanchez - March 23, 2010
At first I was all excited
“Hey the Braves are on ESPN!”
Then i hear Jon Miller and Joe Morgan, and I’m like “Oh yeah…”
Enthusiasm = sapped.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
I really hate to speak ill of anyonbut....
Joe Morgan is the biggest blowhard I have ever heard. I would sooner watch the game on mute than listen to this guy call a game.
demsei - March 23, 2010
I tried alternate viewing languages
I’d kill for a Spanish broadcast of this game. Unfortunately, ESPN didn’t give me the option.
Sometimes it’s awesome to find the Spanish viewing option when they don’t have broadcasters, so you get the audio from the game but there’s no voice-over. Like being there live.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Listen to them for 30 minutes and
Soul = Sucked
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
+1000, but it’s better than no Braves at all.
It’s still PAINFUL to endure.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Gosh, I’d love to be in ATL today.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
is there something going on here that i dont know about?
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
No, I’m just wishing I was watching ATL baseball in person today.
Brain cramp on geography. :-p
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
McCann also works the count full…this is a good sign for Braves fans – Prado battled back from an 0-2 count, hit a couple of foul balls, then got a hit on a 2-2 pitch, Glaus worked the count full with some foul balls and now McCann works the count full before grounding out to 1B.
Gotta love patient hitting!
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Didn’t you love gondeee’s comments about the impatient hitter that used to be our RF in that interview above?
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
If we keep this up...
…it will be great even when we don’t work walks. Running up the opposing starter’s pitch count early gets him out of the game faster and gives hitters the chance to see more of his pitches.
cavebird - March 23, 2010
McCann bounces one to 1B, inning over.
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Seeing this commercial: Any soccer fans pumped for the world cup?
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010

Cora flies out to Melky. Castillo with a backwards K, and now Wright is up with 2 down and nobody on.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Wright grounds out in 5-3 style.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Does ESPN have a microphone right at home plate or something? That bat crack really echoes
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010
i know, i was thinking the same thing
Bravely going forward - March 23, 2010
If Heyward comes up, we’ll all be deaf.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
Their audio has always been a bit weird
Especially from the area right around home plate.

What was this?...
solid shot? IF blooper? What?
Mr. Sanchez - March 23, 2010
Solid line drive up the middle. Exactly what you would want to see
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010
nice...
hopefully he’s out of the funk, and we did have a little premature disappointment
Mr. Sanchez - March 23, 2010
Nate w/ a hit!
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Yay McClooth with a hit
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
Yeah, that McLooth guy might be a keeper.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
yea, they should keep McClouth down in the minor
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
Then what about the McLouth guy?
ATLforlife - March 23, 2010
I'd be excited about that Nate hit
But it had to come right after Jon Miller said, very ridiculously “Get a hit!”
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Can you imagine having to be Jon Miller...
and having to work with Morgan all the time…..
demsei - March 23, 2010
Can you imagine being Orel and having to work w/ both of them

demsei - March 23, 2010
Alright, Jon Miller should call every Braves game. Nate will bat 1.000
Windu - March 23, 2010
If you could tell me that Braves would every game Jon Miller calls
I’d still be a bit iffy at the prospect of having him calling them all.

mj10catchit10 - March 23, 2010

I have never played FB. I just came off of a FF championship win this past season. I did a mock draft on ESPN for FB the other night and I kinda forgot how long the draft takes….LOL

I feel bad for Mets fans.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Don’t worry. Most of them are a-holes anyway
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010
If there any justice in the world
Someone would have just smacked Jon Miller across the back of his head for sounding like a complete doosch talking about Roy Halladay/Cliff Lee.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
For those not forced to listen to this
Here’s almost exactly his words.
“The Phillies and Roy Halladay! Not the Phillies and Cliff Lee. But, some wonder, why not the Phillies, AND Roy Halladay, AND Cliff Lee?”
Completely lacking in any kind of syntax.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Have I entered the Twlight Zone? Frenchy will a full count and battling?

Good luck with Frenchy stealing bases. HAHAHA
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010

Yes
He ruined the perfect game bid with a walk. Irony of ironies.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
You have to wonder if what Hanson is thinking about Frenchy…..“hey, you are supposed to swing at anything close….”

My exact question
Might have to do with proxy settings….
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Internet Explorer. It was working fine earlier today…really weird.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
IE – hadn’t used that in years.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
I’m at work, so I have no choice. lol.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Bummer. Is it only today, or have you been able (from work) to see the treads properly?
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
It’s only today…and not even just today – it was working fine this morning.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
1. Are you on a work network?
2. Browser version?
3. Have you installed any new software?
demsei - March 23, 2010
1. Yes
2. 7
3. Not that I know of…the government may have installed something recently.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Hmmm….Doesn’t sound good. Maybe they made a change to their firewall or network today. If you have restarted and not personally changed anything then I would think your office has made some policy changes to it’s firewall or proxy servers. Not sure of a way around that without bypassing what your office has put in place. Which I would assume is a no. no.

Yes, Joe Morgan, it was a fantastic catch
And he made $50 million for basically that catch.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
I would suggest listening to the game day audio on your computer while watching the game on TV, but I am sure there is a delay.
demsei - March 23, 2010
He got the Texas batting boost too.
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Yes, that too.
It’s just a reflection on the Angels-he was a fairly average CFer, then he made that catch (and I agree, it’s one of the best I’ve ever seen) and he suddenly gets a reputation as a defensive wizard, and makes a ton of money the next offseason.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Flyout to CF, inning over.
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Good – they didn’t score.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Now we get to hear Santana....
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
the Melk Man walketh
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
If we weren’t playing a NY team, would ESPN even give a damn and broadcast the game?
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Yes – they are broadcasting our game tomorrow against Philly.
:)
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Wonderful news!
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
And Friday vs Detroit.
McCann and McWill - March 23, 2010
Thank you! Marking my calendar now.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Or the Phillies
eaheckman10 - March 23, 2010
Isn’t it the ESPN World of Sports Complex?
bighop - March 23, 2010
ESPN Wide World of Sports. ESPN as expected has a major presence at the Rat…er….Disney.
demsei - March 23, 2010
Hey NC, I’m just popping on to see the score between classes, but good to have you back! Can’t wait for your graphics this season :)
Gage23 - March 23, 2010
Hey there! Hope you can pop back to see us mopping the muts 10-0 or more.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Dang. Chipper just missed one foul to the right.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
What happened to Prado?
I Saw Buzz Beaned - March 23, 2010
Prado popped out to 2nd.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
He popped up to 1st.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Thank you both!
I Saw Buzz Beaned - March 23, 2010
or 2nd.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Dunno, actually – going by ESPN Gamecast!
carpengui - March 23, 2010
And then he drops one in for a blooper over 1B…but Melky makes a dumb move and goes for 3rd and is thrown out.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Really good play by Wright to make the tag.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
UGH
Chipper misses a HR by about 3 feet, foul, down to RF.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Chipper with a bloop single, Melky thrown out at 3rd.
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Was that a broken bat?
That ball had some weird spin on it.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Ahh Melky, the Zaza Pachulia of the Braves
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
I'm not sure I understand this at all.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Plays hard, but looks funny and goofy
Im reaching, i know
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
That would be like, Brian McCann
Except McCann is actually a star level talent.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
My vote goes to Diaz. He is one goofy looking mo-fo who always plays hard.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
That's a much better comparison
Plus, he’s underrated, like Zaza.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
lets hope for a Diaz vs. Ryan Howard faceoff in the playoffs
ala Zaza/Garnett
a hooter's baby - March 23, 2010
Head butt!
Bronn - March 23, 2010
carpengui - March 23, 2010
Cabrera is mighty agressive on the bases
bighop - March 23, 2010
Well hell. That was unfortunate.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Glaus Ks
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Hope Tommy has a quick 1,2,3 and out this time.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Same here...
And by-th-way, I am looking forward to seeing the graphics that the rest of the guys are talking about.
I Saw Buzz Beaned - March 23, 2010
Come on Tommy – Wright on deck.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Ughhhh….a lot of pitches and another walk.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
There we go. 1 pitch – 1 out to Wright.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Joe Morgan "I went to umpire school."
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Ok…I just rebooted again, and this still doesn’t seem to be working. le-sigh.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Do you have a different browser like Firefox on your machine you can try?
demsei - March 23, 2010
Nope. Only IE, and I don’t have admin rights at all to download Mozilla or Chrome.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Ugh. Sorry about your luck on that one…. I am not sure what to tell you.
demsei - March 23, 2010
Justin,
This may be a stupid suggestion, but there is an option you can select to have comments instantly refreshed. It’s in the “edit settings” link in the top right of each TC page. Did you somehow uncheck that option?
Cooper'sTown - March 23, 2010
Possibly…lemme try that.
Thanks for the head’s up!
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Did it work?
Cooper'sTown - March 23, 2010
nope.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Mets being extremely patient
Great slider from Hanson there, just misses inside. After a just miss on the outside corner for ball 1.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Grounder just eats up yunel there
tie game.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Escobar with an error on a Jason Bay shot. 1-1 tie now, runners on the corners, 2 outs.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Tommy struck him out – blind ump – then an Ole’ by Esco for their tie run.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
OMG JOE MORGAN
“Pete Rose had this theory that you have the practice the way you’re going to play. That’s not exactly what he meant, know it was…well, it was practice the way you’re going to play.”
Language fail.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Joe Morgan speak fail.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
You realize that our government uses Joe Morgan broadcasts as a form of torture against possible terrorists. Just sayin’
demsei - March 23, 2010
What happens when Joe Morgan calls a Jason Heyward home run?
Unstoppable force meets immovable object.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Hahaha – hilarious.
“Morgan-boarding”.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
LOL
This just in. CNN is reporting that apparently the US had to stop this form of torture as it was deemed just to inhumane and fell outside of what is allowable by the Geneva convention.
demsei - March 23, 2010
Whew.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Is that Kenshin Kawakami's new logo?
Mr. Sanchez - March 23, 2010
Gonna keep his from last year. But it could be. :-)
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
I would love to have lunch with Bobby Cox.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Who wouldn’t?
Gage23 - March 23, 2010
Something like 63 pitches through 3 innings for Tommy. If this pitch location thing on Gamecast is to be believed, the pitchers (both) are being squeezed on the corners.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
Bobby just said that he can’t tell the inside/outside, but that low strikes are not being called at all.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
You've got it
Tommy threw two pitches, on opposite corners, that were both called balls that should have been strikes against Bay.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Well, that same thing just happened to Perez on McCann’s walk.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
Bobby fussin’ about the low strikes not being called.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Think he will get tossed in a ST game???? LOL
demsei - March 23, 2010
I’m baaack.. what’s up?
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Bobby just said Heyward is coming into the game soon! Sweet!
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Bobby just said that he thinks that it is Heyward’s time. I think we can write his name in ink in the lineup now…
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
YES HE DID
keep preaching baby
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
Like I said, even a blind squrrel...
demsei - March 23, 2010
HR Esco
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Bobby = awesome
Bobby was saying how he thinks Yunel has some serious power to hit 20+ HRs, and Yunel knocks it out to the RF gap.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
This is a pretty good interview Bobby is giving.
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
WOW! As soon as Bobby says that Escobar has some power, but he has a Right-Center stance, Heyward hits a bomb over the right-center fence!
Bobby Cox knows baseball.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Heyward is so awesome
He hits HRs when other guys are batting.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
HAHAHAHAHA
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
Best "Heywardism" yet
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
I never thought of Escobar as an Ichiro-type hitter – can hit for power if he wanted to, but doesn’t really try to.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
dammit…good catch. Escobar hits one over. lol.
Good Heywardism though!
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
2 runs for Esco!
Great walk by BMac too.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
GameCast is ruining my philosophy class…. urgghh ;)
Gage23 - March 23, 2010
If there is no baseball, is there life?
carpengui - March 23, 2010
The one constant throughout the years, Ray, has been baseball.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
lol in my notes I just wrote," a life without baseball is barren."
Gage23 - March 23, 2010
Sigmond Freud ruined philosophy for me.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
3-1 Braves
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Bobby looks so relaxed and enjoying this.
I’m sure gonna miss him.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
YEAH ESCO!
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
I’m suprised he has Heyward coming in later and not starting. I figured it was a day off.
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
Nice bunt by Hanson
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
That’s better – giving Tommy some cushion.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Wanted that inning to last alittle longer so we can hear some more from him.
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
yeah, that was a good interview.
bighop - March 23, 2010
Me too. That was a really good interview, and surprisingly, Miller/Morgan asked some great questions.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Would Esco's HR have been one in Atl?
It just barely got over the wall.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Don't think so
But I don’t really know the dimension of ESPN’s wide world sports there.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
This is port St. Lucy
Nevermind.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
So Hanson is in for another inning then?
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Frenchy with a 1st pitch HR. Dammit.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
That just ruined my day…
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
Fudge. Not to Frenchy…..damn.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Frenchy with a HR
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Why couldn't it do that more in Atl.?
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
That’s kind of annoying.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
WHAT! Ugh. I really dislike Francoeur
Gage23 - March 23, 2010
So the patient batters this inning come out first pitch swinging.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Speaking of annoying, here's Joe Morgan
“Now, if Wright hadda gotten a fastball, he’d have it it out too.”
Bronn - March 23, 2010
And that Bay was just toying with Hanson and would of crushed the curve in the season.
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
I don’t like to use the word “hate,” but I REALL REALLY REALLY don’t care for Mouth Morgan.
demsei - March 23, 2010
I can’t see Gary Mathews being any better than FUGA was. ESP with the bat.
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
Crap. Frenchie’s got Baby Jesus’ number? Can’t be.
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
So I got these new sneakers the other day…. the “rocker” type soles.
Calves definitely feel them.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
In a good way?
Bronn - March 23, 2010
I believe so. Definitely keeps you aware of your walking.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Friend of mine is debating on getting those. She stands a lot (works booths at the Braves and Thrashers & Glads hockey games).
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
They take some getting used to – but I really think I’m gonna like ‘em. Not leaning backward is the key. I really like the fact the soles are so think – I gain about an inch in height! I’m somewhat vertically challenged so any little bit helps.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
typo / “think” should have said “thick”.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Gaining an inch in height, that would sell me! But I’m off balance enough as it is, especially according to that dumbass Wii (what a crock o shiiiiite that thing is). But they may work for her, I’ll pass on the info.
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
They are like $100+ everywhere I looked.. but got Champions for $40 the other day at Payless. They’re not all leather (mesh/leather uppers) but hey – I wasn’t sure so it’s nice not to have to drop a Cnote on an unsure thing.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Oh yeah, i just remembered something. You gave me a chicken recipe for grilling a while back.. dont remember it at the minute, but I loved it. Thank you so much!
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Glad you liked it. :-)
Got a new favorite I’ve been doing in a crockpot. Tex-Mex Chicken.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
wow. that sounds awesome. You’ll have to fill me in later when I can write it down
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Just let me know when.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
I gotta agree with JM there: Stretching is key to any sport.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Mircale of miracles
Orel Hershiser talking over Joe Morgan.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Thank goodness.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Great, I tune in for a Joe Morgan story. FML
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Tommy mixing 'em up at least.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
No lineup changes thus far.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
…and the umpire has a near-death experience.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Might be the 1st pitcher to work 5 innings against the Braves
bighop - March 23, 2010
Prado with a walk
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
67 pitches through 4 innings for Perez.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
I think we can start getting used to patient batting.
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
That was at least the 3rd AB that went to a 3-2 count, and I know of at least 2 more that got to 2-2 so far.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Willie McCovey graphic FTW.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Did anyone notice if Chipper swung at the first pitch from Perez in each of his ABs?
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Not this last one
And I don’t think the previous one. But missed the first one.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
Chipper only takes that approach
against good pitchers.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
hahaha. Yeah, that is what I was getting at…
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Chipper walks
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
chip walks
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
6 pitch walk for Chipper.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
To Chipper’s benefit, it is a nice day for a walk.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
wooomp-woooomp.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Ok, let’s get these guys IN please.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Joe: “If I had a vote he’d get it”. Thank god, Joe does something write- he doesn’t get a HOF vote
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
I know he said he was just “tinkering” with the lineup but I really don’t like Mac 4 and Glaus 5.
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
Glaus is 4 and Mac 5 today.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
I know. I’m just saying. The last 2 games it wasn’t
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
I like our patience at the plate during ST.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Darn. Glaus just missed a great chance to show some offense.
rawleigh - March 23, 2010
Does anyone else think the mound conference is about where to go for post-game ice cream?
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Me!
Free cone day at Ben & Jerry’s scoop shops, ya know.
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
I like the idea of the Mets piling up in Jerry Manuel’s minivan to go get ice cream after the game. Frenchy keeps kicking David Wright’s seat, asking why he can’t sit up front.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Damn…spits drink on the laptop screen.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
lol, I can see it.
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
Vermont basically shut down for it today
Stephen Schmidt - March 23, 2010
I like that!
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
I love it. I’m fascinated by our American cultural quirks and traditions.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
My office at UVM is about 1/2 mile from the first Ben and Jerry's, and the line was past my door at lunch time
Stephen Schmidt - March 23, 2010
Starbucks also has a free pastry with any drink purchase going on today.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
ended at 10:30am
Cooper'sTown - March 23, 2010
Who’s due up after commercial break?
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Heap.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Is this Heyward kid supposed to bat?
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
This is a very good thing.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
John Miller is the only person in the world I’ve ever heard pronounce the last name Perez the way he does. Drives me nuts.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
PAIR-ez.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Maybe because he’s the only who can’t speak Spanish
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
That didn’t stop him from trying to speak in Spanish to Santana in an interview earlier.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
no, really? Damnit. How did I miss that?
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
And tossing out the city names in Spanish he had visited.
He says them fast so you don’t realize he’s full of …
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
When Eddie was catching for us and in the lineup I’d scream at my TV.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
OH using the saying “back on the bean” – never heard that one before.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
This pitcher doesn’t even exsist.
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
Or he’s like a Higgs Boson — we have evidence of his effects, but no direct proof of his extistence.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Like Haithcock.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Heap with a typical crushed ball – caught by Frenchy who doubled up Chipper at 1st. Dammit, Frenchy is owning us today.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
and lovin' every minute of it.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Frenchy doubled up Chipper
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
That part will be included on the uncensored DVD release.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Frenchy Tagged up Chip to end it.
JKowalek - March 23, 2010
Dammit. FYF with a homer and now a DP too?
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Just what I thought, too.
rawleigh - March 23, 2010
and a WALK, just to rub it in deeper.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
Maybe he needs an HBP too.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Heap rips one to right
Francoeur was playing him that way, caught it, and doubled Chipper off First.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
I didn’t know Frenchy was playing for his job too?
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
I don’t think there is a right fielder in the league who wouldn’t have made that play, though. It wasn’t even close to being close.
sleezer1788 - March 23, 2010
Chipper being interviewed now – Conrad in at 3rd, Chipper out.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Miller just asked Chipper where he was going on that double play and Chipper laughed and said “hahaha, It’s Spring Training.”
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Loved that grin on his face too.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
whipper snapper FTW
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
If Chipper is out, maybe more changes … like Heyward in right.
rawleigh - March 23, 2010
Is Hanson’s velocity down?
Braves24 - March 23, 2010
No. He has hit 94 today.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Oh ok
Braves24 - March 23, 2010
Early this spring I think chipper said he doesn’t swing as hard at the beginning of spring training. Do pitchers not throw as hard too?
Braves24 - March 23, 2010
To some extent, sure, but that is why they report earlier – to warm up their arms.
Besides, we only have about a week and a half left of ST.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
The gray bar holds all the answers!
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Augh, everybody stop commenting…I’ve got my forehead pressed against the gray bar trying to suck up all the answers by osmosis and the screen keeps moving!!!1 I’m losing all knowledge as you speak, yaaaaah.
oh shiite, i’ve really lost it. That one had me doubled over!
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Was that Yunel wearing #77?
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
damnit.. I meant 7
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Wasn’t that a “2” — Prado?
rawleigh - March 23, 2010
could be.. it was a crappy angle
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Nice interview with Chipper. Watching 90s film with Dad.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
I didn’t know he swung a Ruthian bat.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Come on… its a Schmidt bat
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Oh, and NCChopper, CF here is 410’ away – so I would imagine that Yunel’s HR would have gone out at Turner – isn’t Turner only 402’ straight away?
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
I think The Ted CF is 400 on the nose if my memory is right….of course we are talking about my memory so ……
demsei - March 23, 2010
hahaha. I am going off of memory too. Mine is probably at least as bad as yours.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Memory is good.
Here is an old photo of mine: See Photo HERE
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Nice shot, good seats!
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
On the rare occasions I get to visit ATL I try and get good ones if I can.
That was was a Sunday game vs Houston 10/1/06.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
I didn’t ask – but was curious.
This gets blurry when you zoom. ~ 360 of Turner Field ~
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Esco due up first.. does this mean Heyward bats this inning? Is he even in?
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
He isn’t in yet, but Bobby said that he would be in today.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
he better get in within the next 5 minutes
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Esco wearing #19 btw.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
woah, Joe Morgan knows big words like “tardy”? Wow.
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Evidence of Mets' failure
They want to take this guy, Mejia, who is their best starting prospect, and turn him into an 8th inning guy so that they can use him this year. It’s insane to waste of year of his development as so that they can try to win 80 games. They’re not going to be competitive.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
lolmets.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
los(t) mets
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
How is Mejia’s wind-up not a balk?
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
C’mon, Nate. You gotta come through for short men everywhere.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
And he promptly drives it into the dirt.
Bronn - March 23, 2010
sorry short men everywhere
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
We never win. Except limbo contests.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Damnit, I gotta go again. See everyone later.
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Venters on the hill
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
first batter k's
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Venters now in to pitch.
Heyward in at RF.
Hinske at 1B.
Thurston 2B.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
All right — who kidnapped Frenchy???
carpengui - March 23, 2010
And why wasn’t I in on it?
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Frenchy walks again
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
and ties the game
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
And Tommy can’t win.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Yep, Frenchy continues to hurt us,
even after we got rid of him.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Life’s funny that way. /sigh
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Francoeur scores…barf.
In other news, Heyward is now in the game.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
man, hinske is really beefy
Bravely going forward - March 23, 2010
Frency walks twice today...
that is hilarious. He hasn’t walked all spring and he shows patience today against the braves. I’m so pumped not to have to see him in a Braves uniform anymore. The mets can have his terrible OBP and average. They’ll understand why we gave him away.
BravesFanScout - March 23, 2010
Thurston digs one out and throws to first for the final out.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
he's been impressive this spring.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Can we please score some run(s) now?
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Omar gets a single
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Infante with a leadoff single, and now Heyward up to bad.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
*bat
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
freudian slip…
Bravely going forward - March 23, 2010
I was about to say…interesting choice of words. :^)
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Pitcher needs a Depends after that one by Infante.

Igarashi
Stephen Schmidt - March 23, 2010
My first time seeing him on TV – he’s a big guy.
Does this mean I’m no longer a Heyward virgin?
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Man…I wish I had that kind of power over women…
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Well, on that first time – he lived more up to my signature than the hype.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Let’s see if he can do better this time….2 on and we’re down by 2 runs.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Ummm no. Ks with 2 on and 2 outs.
Maybe next time.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Jason hits into a FC. He just may be human after all.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
Thurston hits into FC
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Dangit. We keep swapping the man on 1st with outs.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Brooksy walks
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Oh CRUD!
My MLB at bat 2010 audio feed just died!
demsei - March 23, 2010
HeyJude – did I say Hi to you earlier? If not – Hey!
Hope you’re having a good day.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Thank you,
A win here would make it a perfect day!
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Did they just say Heyward has a brother?
bighop - March 23, 2010
They just said he's a yankee fan...
Stephen Schmidt - March 23, 2010
He’s 14 and right handed, we should draft him now.
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Not if he is a Yankees fan…..
demsei - March 23, 2010
cut him some slack.. they were born in NJ
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Smoltz was a Tigers fan; Ricky Henderson is a fan of himself, etc.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
I hear what you are saying, and normally I agree, but when it comes to the Yanks and the Phils it just makes me cringe….
demsei - March 23, 2010
Intervention
It worked on my brother-in-law. He slips up every now and then, but we just slap him around a little with a foam tomahawk and he’s fine.
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
HaHa :)
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Jason’s a Yankee fan, so should we cut him or something?
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Ok! Ok! Point taken. I don’t like the Yanks, but I am not crazy….. Of course I wouldn’t cut JaHey.
Once again I insert foot A. into mouth B.
I am a pro at that.
demsei - March 23, 2010
Praying is fun… what’d I miss?

HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010

GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010

You mean Frenchy’s stunt double….
demsei - March 23, 2010

HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010

carpengui - March 23, 2010
Frenchy’s been killing us, doubled up Chipper and scored from 1st on a triple

You gotta kidding me. Damn Brooksy.

NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Yay for little league baseball
GoBravesNY - March 23, 2010
Anyone else using the iPhone MLB at Bat 2010 and had their audio die? What just happened?
demsei - March 23, 2010
Why would you do that with 2 strikes and 2 outs?
sleezer1788 - March 23, 2010
Was Ross's throw to high, or should Conrad have caught it?
I couldn’t tell.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Wilt Chamberlain couldn’t have caught it.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Ok,
missed it.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
On slow-mo, Conrad jumped really high and got a glove on it.
Would have been nice if he had caught it
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Looked to me like it was too high. Conrad really isn’t all that tall.
sleezer1788 - March 23, 2010
E2 -- UGH
demsei - March 23, 2010
Well, it went off the glove because Conrad jumped really high.
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Next time he just shouldn’t jump so high so Joe Morgan doesn’t think it’s his fault.
sleezer1788 - March 23, 2010
For anyone wondering
Ross tried a snap throw behind the runner at 3rd, went high 2 runs scored
Then Wags struck out the hitter on the next pitch.
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Thanks, was wondering in fact!
Auuuuuuuuugh.
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
Thanks for the update! That stinks though.
demsei - March 23, 2010
Ross with a single.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Ross with a leadoff single
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Matt Young with a single
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Ok no out – let’s DO this.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
2 on and no outs
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Sweet!
Audio is back on. VERY delayed, but back on.
demsei - March 23, 2010
Blanco bounces in to a double play, runner to 3rd
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Freeman up, passed ball, run scores.
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Ross scores on pass ball
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
We’ll take that.
Pass ball for a score – it’s time their errors start costing THEM.
We’ve paid for ours today.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Freeman Walks
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Freeman walks
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Is it just me – or is Freeman easy on the eyes?
I never got a closeup shot.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
At the Braves Caravan in Evans, GA earlier this year, holding CB’s pic of him

Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
Ok – it was obviously wishful thinking.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
That's just mean!
bighop - March 23, 2010
I hear he's nice.......
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
He looks very friendly.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
OH, the great personality line
bighop - March 23, 2010
It never works for me.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
I didn't want to say anything earlier,
just wanted you to see for yourself. I thought you might think differently than I do :)
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
He’s not bad looking – but I wouldn’t pin him on my wall.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
He’s Clark Kent to Heyward’s Superman
bighop - March 23, 2010
I would argue Jimmy Olsen.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
He’s one of the most genuine, and genuinely polite and affable young men I’ve met in a long time…and I work at a college. I’d date him.
Not a pinup heartthrob, but that’s ok with me because really good looking guys usually have very small…um…yeeeeaaaah. So I’ve heard, cough.
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
You have a valid point Lizziebeth.
After all, take a look at those hands. ;-)
And I’m delighted to hear one of our players is a genuinely nice guy.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
He seemed pleasant enough the one time I met him (it was a caravan thing in Montgomery, AL). I was most struck by Medlen’s sense of humor that day — he even teased me about working at UA.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
what ya do at ua

Heyward’s up, they’re pinch running for Freeman at 2nd
Lennox - March 23, 2010
Heyward , called strike 3 for the 3rd out.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
He’s in his first real slump, 0 for his last 6 with 3 K’s. It will be interesting to see how he responds tomorrow.
cavebird - March 23, 2010
For what it’s worth, all of a sudden, the corner strikes got called.
carpengui - March 23, 2010
Exactly what I was thinking. That pitch hasn’t been called a strike all day.
sleezer1788 - March 23, 2010
Yep.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Anybody else's ESPN video go out?
mj10catchit10 - March 23, 2010
yep

yeah wtf??
scottsharp76 - March 23, 2010
WTH? Went to commercial mid inning?
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Apparently, the satellite feed was lost.
TheLetter2 - March 23, 2010
Ross isn’t having a very good defensive game.
sleezer1788 - March 23, 2010
Unusual for him.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
catcher backing up is just cowardly.
rawleigh - March 23, 2010
Looked like a really good throw from Heyward, Ross not looking that great today
bighop - March 23, 2010
Ross
was scared the ball was going to go thru him
Erihury - March 23, 2010
Hehe.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
We’ve out hit them and still losing.
Gosh I hate playing the Muts.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
I hate losing to the Muts.
C’mon O, get those runs back.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Bags full – no outs – please promise me we can score a run (or two) here.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
And we did.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Whooooo!
Lizziebeth - March 23, 2010
There’s 2 – thank you sir – may I have another?
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Play by play is really lacking today.
Cooper'sTown - March 23, 2010
6-7 Muts, 2 out in the 9th
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Oh well, at least we didn’t lose by 4 runs.
NCChopper - March 23, 2010
Yes, that is true.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Blanco makes the final out.
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
Muts win
HEYJUDE - March 23, 2010
I almost wish the Braves had come back
just to help push Sean Green to the minors
Stephen Schmidt - March 23, 2010
Darn. ESPN would have to end with a photo of Francouer’s HR.
rawleigh - March 23, 2010
See you guys and gals tomorrow.......

trade them so we can get Kyle Davies and FYF back or maybe FUGA or Scott Thorman
Erihury - March 23, 2010
its probably a good thing
Scott Thorman isn’t in Major League baseball anymore. I was always worried his arms would fly off after one of his swings. that dude had the longest swing I’ve ever seen.
Scott Coleman - March 23, 2010
You are severely overrating Hanson and YWH’s value.
justincredubil02 - March 23, 2010
yea
we could prob only get Tyler Yates or Macay McBride
Erihury - March 23, 2010
YWH?
