Here is the blog radio interview I did with HotStove.com last week. I had no idea they were doing it on video, lucky for you I refused to give them a mug shot.

Good interview other than the guy that wouldn’t shut up about the Mets. We get it, you are a Mets fan.
I agree, nice interview. they really kept pursuing the Smoltz/Glavine/Maddux question there at the end. They seemed to be getting a little joy out of making a Braves fan choose.
figured I’d put it here. On Yahoo’s pre-spring training team preview deal, they’ve been going 30th to #1, finally reaching the Atlanta Braves at #8, which will post sometime tomorrow morning. Just wanted to give y’all a heads up on it, though I’m sure many of you already know, since this is a Yahoo blog. Anyway, it’ll probably tell us a lot of stuff we know, maybe a couple things we don’t, but I’ll try and get the link up in a fanshot if no one else has hopped on it by the time I go to work in the morning. By the way… I’ll definitely take 8th in the initial Yahoo power rankings… cause we’re only gonna get better. It’s almost that sweet, sweet time of year, folks:)
Well, if you put up 10 runs a game and dominate the first week that will happen. Until a certain unmentionable game against the Phillies is blown and the universe rectifies itself once more.
Sorry about the Mets overload. I guess I just need to get my frustrations out! What, no sympathy from Braves fans! LOL! We love doing these chats and Martin was a great guest for us. We can’t wait to see how the Braves bring it this season. I am pumped to see Jason Heyward and what he can do.
I rolled my eyes a bit with the “Is Derek Lowe still available” question, believing that the Vazquez trade completely negated the possibility, but your answer surprised me some. I suppose I underestimate that he could still get dealt if the circumstances were favorable.
I am bored at work and decided to look at the Braves projected line-up.
1.McClouth
2.Prado
3.Chipper
4.Glaus
5.McCann
6.Escobar
7.Diaz
8.Heyward/Cabrera
With this lineup our projected team bating avg. would be .287 with an OBP of .360. I used the players career numbers. I also used Cabrera since we have nothing to go by with Heyward.
That is pretty fantastic team batting. We may not have the fire power that some teams have but we certainly have some hitters. Lineup may not be in the perfect order but it’s close..

Ugh
I remember we were #1 on a lot of PRs after the first week of the season…and then we
started to suck. No thanks in 2010.

I would say "how the mighty have fallen"
…but was he ever really mighty?
