Atlanta Braves Fantasy Camp Interview Series

Fantasy_camp_logo_final_medium

Good morrow Braves fans. Boy do we have a holiday treat for you. Over the next few weeks Talking Chop will be presenting interviews with former Braves players who will be participating in the first ever Fantasy Camp put on by the Atlanta Braves organization.

The camp will be held January 25-30, 2011 at the Braves Spring Training facility at ESPN's Wide World of Sports complex at Disney. It's a five-day, five-night camp that will give all participants a real-life Major League experience playing alongside and learning the game from Braves greats like Steve Avery, Otis Nixon, Sid Bream, Marquis Grissom, Greg McMichael, Javy Lopez, and Greg Olson.

Talking Chop had an opportunity to interview each of these players, and during the next few weeks we will be posting those interviews here. We'll kick off the interview series later today with Greg McMichael, then Greg Olson on Wednesday, and Otis Nixon on Friday. More will follow in the coming weeks.

For more information on the camp, go to http://www.braves.com/fantasycamp, call 404-614-1526, or email fantasycamp@braves.com.

Just wait until you hear how excited these former Braves players are for the Fantasy Camp.

Is Sid teaching baserunning??

I know what I want for Christmas..

I wish I had $4,000 to drop on this.

Maybe one day (assuming they keep doing this).

This definitely looks like the ultimate experience for a Braves fan. I know what I need to start saving for now..I just hope they still have it in 10 years.

Ultimate experience for Braves fan = World Series Championship

Guys, I’ll take the bullet. I will allow TC to sponsor me to go get a fan’s insider opinion of this shindig. You guys don’t have to worry about it.

Otis Nixon! I’ve always been wanting to learn how to “get caught being naked and yielding a knife in a hotel parking lot.”

Lower the price about $3,800 and I might be interested.

What a great idea. I’m looking forward to reading the interviews.
