The Atlanta Braves coaching staff and several alumni took the time to salute the troops, sign autographs, and hand out gifts on Saturday at Turner Field. In partnership with Operation HomeFront Georgia, members of the military and their families were invited to the Ted to play a little wiffle ball and enjoy a holiday party with the Braves.
Manager Fredi Gonzalez was the star of the show as everyone wanted a picture with the new Braves skipper. He took his time talking to all the military service members and signing all the autographs people asked him for. That smile you'll see in all the pictures never left his face. I think we'll enjoy seeing that for years to come.
More pictures are after the jump.

The awesome Eddie Perez.

This is awesome.
Great stuff Martin. It’s times like these that I really wish I didn’t live 3,000 miles away from Atlanta.
