Shouldn’t be much of a surprise considering who we are putting out there. We have one legit outfielder and a patchwork infield. And we are still only losing because of a missed call at 2nd.
we’ve had MUCH MUCH crazier comebacks than 1-0 this is nothing plus we got Oman, Jason and Derek coming up, just wait and watch what their about about to do
I just can’t comprehend this…it should so bad be an incredible 0-0 game, who knows how far we’ll go game. I want to quit bitchin’ about it, I really do. I still believe we can make up for it, but damn the Freak is nasty…
Timmy is throwing the ball wildly all over the place. Please do not swing at garbage that is up around your eyes or in the dirt. ~ Your adoring fan base
fuck you jason…why do we turn to complete retards at the plate when we get a full count….he hasnt given in with a fucking fastball all night…..12 of 13 weren’t strikes
My point is, why come back and say that? You haven’t participated in the thread all night, but come back at the end of the game to gloat that you predicted the braves would get shut out.
And that observation came from the way the braves have played teh last 15 or so games. I’m a fan to the core, but we barely even deserved to be in the playoffs, if you want to hate someone, hate all the players that swung at the 20 plus balls thrown that were no where near the strike zone in the first 4 innings.
It’s get more drunk time! Good night folks. i’ll see you tomorrow. I’ll be supporting our boys and I’m going to the game on Sunday so it should be awesome.
OT: TBS needs to take a cue from MLBN’s postseason ad campaign. The Kid Rock song blows, but that Breaking Benjamin song on MLBN gets my adrenaline pumping.
I saw a stat during the Rays game about productive outs how the rays and rangers were 1 and 2 in the league….I wonder where we rank, our situational hitting is god awful considering we have little to no power
I know everyone is frustrated but remember one thing
There are 30 teams in the MLB and only 8 make it to the playoffs. Despite the injuries, the bad defense and the bad offense, we are still one of the best 8 teams this season
WE all know that if we had our full team like 6 of the other teams do (minus the Twins cuz they do not have Morneau), things would be different, but those IFs dont count now
We proved we can shut down the Giants’ lineup. If we can seriously keep them that quiet with Lowe, we can do it with Hanson and Hudson too. And the offense doesn’t need to be great behind that kind of pitching, just ok.
Don’t fall prey to recentism and small sample sizes. Hanson and Hudson are excellent pitchers, better than Lowe, and there’s no reason they can’t get the same results Lowe did tonight.
But he made some excellent pitches to make our better hitters look foolish. Don’t judge them just based on their awkward swings; it’s Lincecum’s lights-out stuff which induces them.
He missed high a lot. And all the ridiculous flailing from the bottom of the order kind of masked that. But when he needed his out pitch, he had it going, and I can’t really see the Giants getting a BETTER pitching performance this series. Just very unlikely.
Lincecum remains the better pitcher. I will go on record right now: Cain is not going to shut us out tomorrow night. We’re not a great offensive club right now, but we’ve got more than 0 runs in us.
but baseball is as temperamental as anything. We don’t have to outscore Philly in this series, just SF. And right now they’ve only managed to score one more run than we have, which even still was fluke-ish. And as I said before, if someone said we were gonna split in SF, I’m sure everyone in here would have been happy with that. We still have that opportunity…
And I’ll be glad to see someone other than Pendleton out there breaking Chipper’s leg and tearing Prado’s muscles out of his chest!
Oh wait! This was actually a very solid offensive club that got bit by the injury bug and is now having to start replacement-level dudes. Not the coaching staff’s fault; not even the medical staff’s fault, in these two specific cases.
At least Cal is still classy. Good to see he’s not catching the same boneheadedness that seems to be going around with the rest of the broadcasting crew.
Derek Lowe pitched with brass balls tonight. Yes, the Giants aren’t exactly the Phillies, but Lowe pitched a gem. Did not get helped by the ump, or the defense.
Bats will not look that bad the rest of this series. I guaranfuckingtee it.
Great gameplan…Tommorow vs. Matt Cain get some Gorilla Glue, and glue the players bats to their shoulders so they dont swing at low/shitty curveballs/sliders/changeups etc..

I know, the ump made a bad call, so, after he made that bad call, if Infante catches the ground ball Posey would not score.

Jtpdolphins2009 - October 7, 2010
Infante
Kobe:The Legend - October 7, 2010
Infante doubled, J-Hey walked, Lee turned two walks into strikeouts with his Chicago goat-curse voodoo magic.
J-Freak - October 7, 2010
Infante has one and J hey has a walk
s.r.j - October 7, 2010
Yes. McCann has the other hit.
justincredubil02 - October 7, 2010
Yep a wasted double when lincecum couldn't throw a stirike
nuftjedi - October 7, 2010 via mobile
Heyward home run for the win
Calling it now
AuditDawg - October 7, 2010
But, Heyward has also been on base tonight, and Lee has had some really good ABs.
justincredubil02 - October 7, 2010
Lee has turned two walks into strikeouts. I think that invalidates any claim he has to “good ABs” just because he ran the count full first.
J-Freak - October 7, 2010
He had a bad last pitch in those ABs, but he had some good cuts too.
justincredubil02 - October 7, 2010
Bobby wanted to extend the game a little more
joshant - October 7, 2010
Get the sponsors some commercials
crime_dog - October 7, 2010
Gotta say...this ump has been pretty solid all night behind the plate.
Scott Coleman - October 7, 2010
very true.
Kudzu Kid - October 7, 2010
As solid as a meteor
GoBravesNY - October 7, 2010
True. It's the 2nd base ump that I hate
FitzFan - October 7, 2010
At least one of them was
Plus with us swinging at garbage it helped him
nuftjedi - October 7, 2010 via mobile
Truth
But when you don’t get screwed by the one behind the plate, apparently you get screwed by the one at second.
MartinMcFly - October 7, 2010

Virginia9er - October 7, 2010

UltimaParadox - October 7, 2010
IF we lose
it’s because of:
Infante
Ump
Offense
Kobe:The Legend - October 7, 2010
more like Offense, Infante, Ump
The Pitcher should be allowed to give up one run and not lose the game
thenightstallion - October 7, 2010
More like:
Offense, Ump, Infante
EricGreggWasPaidOff - October 7, 2010
I'm reorder
offense
ump
infante
taney71 - October 7, 2010
No. It’s because of the Defense and the lack of patience…and the ump.
justincredubil02 - October 7, 2010
Infante= Defense, patience= offense
Kobe:The Legend - October 7, 2010
I was thinking more of Brooks than Omar, but Omar too.
justincredubil02 - October 7, 2010
it's not in order
Kobe:The Legend - October 7, 2010
Look at it this way guys...the Braves are due to start hitting soon
taney71 - October 7, 2010

Seems this will fall a run short of my prediction of Giants 1 Braves 0
Even though I’m loyal, I’m a realist
WisdomVendor - October 8, 2010
meant giants 2 braves 0
WisdomVendor - October 8, 2010
so, yo don’t post all night, and then come in and say this?
justincredubil02 - October 8, 2010
I watched the game "all night" and that was literally one of my predictions, I don't care if you believe it or not
WisdomVendor - October 8, 2010
My point is, why come back and say that? You haven’t participated in the thread all night, but come back at the end of the game to gloat that you predicted the braves would get shut out.
justincredubil02 - October 8, 2010
gloat? no, simply a sadly realistic observation,
And that observation came from the way the braves have played teh last 15 or so games. I’m a fan to the core, but we barely even deserved to be in the playoffs, if you want to hate someone, hate all the players that swung at the 20 plus balls thrown that were no where near the strike zone in the first 4 innings.
WisdomVendor - October 8, 2010
I don’t hate anyone.
And yes, you are gloating. And, this team scored 8 runs in their last games, so that reasoning is BS on your part.
justincredubil02 - October 8, 2010
then again, we did run down a run between 3rd and home early on, so I was closer than I thought
WisdomVendor - October 8, 2010
Pwned
bradleyjah - October 8, 2010
Well... Shit.
oVecKid - October 8, 2010
Well that was promising
it was a good year
UltimaParadox - October 8, 2010
Yeah that happended
BeatTehMets - October 8, 2010
Just win tomorrow. That is all
GoBravesNY - October 8, 2010
Why does the WHOLE team swing at pitches in the dirt CONSTANTLY?!
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
MartinMcFly - October 8, 2010
DITTO,,, said much teh same earlier, not to mention all the fastball strikes that split the plate and there was NO swing
WisdomVendor - October 8, 2010
and then...
Lee looks at a cockshot right down the middle…ballgame. Gnite guys and gals.
DolphinNation - October 8, 2010
we just fuckin lost because an ump blew a fuckin call...outstanding.
DolphinNation - October 8, 2010
dont blame the ump, we had 5 innings to get that run back
AND WE DID SHIT!!!
Jtpdolphins2009 - October 8, 2010
I’d rather go to extras than lose because of a goddamn ump.
J-Freak - October 8, 2010
agreed
and Infante didn’t get the ground ball.
Kobe:The Legend - October 8, 2010
It doesn't matter
Situation would have been completely different. Nothing excuses our offense still
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010
Well this game will be discussed because of the need for MLB to get replay
taney71 - October 8, 2010
Unbelievable.
What a fucking joke.
Scott Coleman - October 8, 2010
What pisses me off is that ump
dhumpkm - October 8, 2010
FVCK U UMP
joshant - October 8, 2010
Son of a bitch
letsgobravos - October 8, 2010
FUCKING SECOND BASE UMP
Umpires lead the series one game to the Giants’ and Braves’ 0.
J-Freak - October 8, 2010
i would love to be negative here but i won't
TCfromDubVee - October 8, 2010
And Lee looks at a beautiful pitch for strike 3.
Fantastic.
Lowe, you deserved so much better than this.
justincredubil02 - October 8, 2010
Lee was just turrible tonight :(
………and Ankiel :(
EricGreggWasPaidOff - October 8, 2010
Pretty much everyone but Heap and Omar
MartinMcFly - October 8, 2010
Lovely
2 hit shutout with a bullshit run thanks to the umps. I’m convinced MLB hates the Braves.
AuditDawg - October 8, 2010
Enjoy it Giants.
That’s all you’ll be getting.

settle down, tiger.
get swoll yunel - October 8, 2010
can't man, so frustrated
Kobe:The Legend - October 8, 2010
it was a miserable game, but we’re missing two of our best offensive players and got the shaft on a shitty call by the ump that swung an inning.
it’s still just one game and we’ve got a puncher’s chance if we can scratch out some runs here and there.
gotta just hope for the best at this point even if our lineup is pretty pathetic right now.
at least the pitching was fantastic.
get swoll yunel - October 8, 2010
Haha, I’ll have to save this for later.
Gage23 - October 8, 2010

Cain tommorrow
UltimaParadox - October 8, 2010
Infante, Heyward, Lee, McCann.
justincredubil02 - October 8, 2010
Where do you see the Giant’s runs coming from? They have Hanson tomorrow.
justincredubil02 - October 8, 2010
They have more than us
Torres, Sanchez, Huff, Posey, Burrell
UltimaParadox - October 8, 2010
I see 1 name on that list that worries me.
justincredubil02 - October 8, 2010
yes, and at what point this season did the braves perform well facing the wall as opposed to having their backs against it?
Kudzu Kid - October 8, 2010
over

Kobe:The Legend - October 8, 2010
What a pathetic performance by this team
absolutely pathetic

MBL1 - October 8, 2010 via mobile

No it wasn't brilliant pitching
It was pathetic hitting

A tiny little bit
But mostly bad hitting, id go 80/20
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010

Its ashame that this game came down to a bad call at second
deewill23 - October 8, 2010

taney71 - October 8, 2010
and hanson might not make tomorrows start.
chipsicyhotcorner - October 8, 2010
Yes he will.
He’s fine.
MichaelProcton - October 8, 2010
for sure?
chipsicyhotcorner - October 8, 2010
At least we get to hear on Mike and Mike how a bad call ruined a game
In the end, the Braves didn’t know where the strikezone was
crime_dog - October 8, 2010
they could have used a map
taney71 - October 8, 2010
They wouldn't have read it

calling it

Dude, we’re down 1-0 in the division series. We have at least two more games.
Ivan the Great - October 8, 2010
I wish I had any confidence in this team but I don't.

We will beat them tomorrow
Go Braves!
deewill23 - October 8, 2010
Hey guys...
we do have at least two more games.
Scott Coleman - October 8, 2010
i know
it just sucks the way we lost.
a blown call at 2B and some BS called strikes.
drumzalicious - October 8, 2010
Welp. That Sucked.
drumzalicious - October 8, 2010
Just need a split in SF
this was fugly, just gotta scrap a win out 2morrow somehow…
JC29 - October 8, 2010
The Braves did not hit or field well tonight.
It’s one game and it’s over. Let’s keep some measure of reality and let’s get after Cain tomorrow night.
This team can still do this. They’ve amazed us time and again all year long.
UMDBHIK - October 8, 2010
holy shit
love who drove the bandwagon in here? a 1-0 loss and we’re suddenly out of it? gimme a break…
Kudzu Kid - October 8, 2010
Perhaps
we should not share the stat of % of teams who win Division Series when winning game 1
UltimaParadox - October 8, 2010
Did you see how bad our hitters looked?
I think not
nuftjedi - October 8, 2010 via mobile
What a shitty day for baseball. Tim did not have great stuff. So much fail for the Braves NOffense.
FitzFan - October 8, 2010
Tim Lincecum
just raped our offense all game long….very depressing. Maybe we can win the next one.

It's ok
We’ll get ’em tomorrow. Seems like this team often follows up complete offensive ineptitude with a solid performance and vice versa.
MartinMcFly - October 8, 2010
If that umpire wasn’t so stupid, the game might still be going on.
MBL1 - October 8, 2010 via mobile

AuditDawg - October 8, 2010
This game started out so promising.
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
OT: TBS needs to take a cue from MLBN’s postseason ad campaign. The Kid Rock song blows, but that Breaking Benjamin song on MLBN gets my adrenaline pumping.
J-Freak - October 8, 2010
The Kid Rock
songblowsFTFY
Erihury - October 8, 2010
Haha well that’s true too. Whoever decided he should be commissioned for the postseason theme song needs to be dropped off the roof.
J-Freak - October 8, 2010
One comment
Derek Lowe deserved better than that.
Yes, I said it.
Goodnight.
Sir Veza - October 8, 2010
Lowe
SUCKS I REMEMBER WHEN HE COULD PITCH LIKE CRAP AND GET LIKE 8 RUNS OF SUPPORT I WANT THAT DEREK LOWE
Erihury - October 8, 2010
I had a horrible feeling after we stranded Infante after the leadoff double...
thats the kind of opportunity you cant waste on the road against an elite pitcher. We had a shot right there to jump on Tim and we blew it.
letsgobravos - October 8, 2010
Exactly
He was all over the place and we let him settle in
nuftjedi - October 8, 2010 via mobile
Why we didn't bunt there???
blows my mind
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
bobby doesnt bunt
we know this
RufRider - October 8, 2010
why didnt he just hit his patented GB to second base?
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
I'm looking forward
to next year and a new manager willing to bunt with man on 2nd no outs.
BravesFTW - October 8, 2010
So angry
I need something to calm me down.
tomahawklove - October 8, 2010
I gotta live with this shit all night???
14 K’s 12 of them were pitches swung at out of the zone
then Dlee see’s a perfect on the corner fast ball that he could crush it to RF and he looks at it like a fucking dummie
I waited 4 days for this shit…and missed IASIP and the League for this shit?!
Infante and Brooks blow on Defense, and Infante/Ump are real reasons we lost this game
shit Defense plus Pathetic Offense= Boring/loss of a game
sorry just had to get all that off my chest because the dog has no idea what I’m talking about
Tommorow is indeed a must win game vs. Cain, although I’m not quite sure we will be able to touch him either
Losing Prado’s Defense is obviously a much bigger problem than expected
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
I see your complaint with missing Sunny...
but don’t get to worked up over The League, it is marginally funny one or two times a season…you aren’t missing much.
Clemson Caniac - October 8, 2010
IMO
This season of Sunny has been awful(I’m just hoping we’ll see vintage IASIP sometime soon) so the League has been funnier this season so far IMO
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
this is true
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
Last weeks episode was hilarious
The first 2 were subpar, and The League was actually better.
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010
Frank is way better than Charlie now too
DeVito is absolutly hilarious in that show!
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
Agreed
Seeing as they filmed the whole season in a month to work around DeVito’s schedule, they know he’s important
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010
dvr?
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
I forgot to...
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
I set my shit up like a week in advance just in case something comes up.
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
I saw a stat during the Rays game about productive outs how the rays and rangers were 1 and 2 in the league….I wonder where we rank, our situational hitting is god awful considering we have little to no power
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
Night everyone
I know everyone is frustrated but remember one thing
There are 30 teams in the MLB and only 8 make it to the playoffs. Despite the injuries, the bad defense and the bad offense, we are still one of the best 8 teams this season
WE all know that if we had our full team like 6 of the other teams do (minus the Twins cuz they do not have Morneau), things would be different, but those IFs dont count now
Jtpdolphins2009 - October 8, 2010
We can still win game two and take home field advantage.
Goodnight all.
And remember, its just a game.
Prayers and thoughts with Musicman and his family.
oVecKid - October 8, 2010
what happened to his family????
Sir Veza - October 8, 2010
His aunt was in a car accident and had to be airlifted to the hospital.
Gage23 - October 8, 2010
His aunt had a car wreck and was air lifted to Vandy.
J-Freak - October 8, 2010

Sir Veza - October 8, 2010
FTFY
Kobe:The Legend - October 8, 2010
reply fail to KINGSLYTUT
Kobe:The Legend - October 8, 2010
I'm encouraged, actually.
We proved we can shut down the Giants’ lineup. If we can seriously keep them that quiet with Lowe, we can do it with Hanson and Hudson too. And the offense doesn’t need to be great behind that kind of pitching, just ok.
SS451 - October 8, 2010
Lowe has been better than Hanson and Lowe
in case you were under a rock all of September
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
Hanson and Hudson have been pretty damn good too though
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010
And?
Don’t fall prey to recentism and small sample sizes. Hanson and Hudson are excellent pitchers, better than Lowe, and there’s no reason they can’t get the same results Lowe did tonight.
SS451 - October 8, 2010
It doesn't get any easier tommorow
Vs. Cain
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
Realistically, I think it does.
Lincecum, when he’s on (which he was), is probably Top 3 in baseball. That’s not Cain, not quite.
SS451 - October 8, 2010
He wasn't really THAT on
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010
He didn't have to do much against the bottom half
But he made some excellent pitches to make our better hitters look foolish. Don’t judge them just based on their awkward swings; it’s Lincecum’s lights-out stuff which induces them.
SS451 - October 8, 2010
I'm not saying he was terrible
But he DID have some control issues we took no advantage of.
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010
That's fair.
He missed high a lot. And all the ridiculous flailing from the bottom of the order kind of masked that. But when he needed his out pitch, he had it going, and I can’t really see the Giants getting a BETTER pitching performance this series. Just very unlikely.
SS451 - October 8, 2010
Yea I agree
Granted he only need a an out pitch 2 or 3 times haha.
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010
Cain had a better season
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
You're big on results and lately, huh?
Lincecum remains the better pitcher. I will go on record right now: Cain is not going to shut us out tomorrow night. We’re not a great offensive club right now, but we’ve got more than 0 runs in us.
SS451 - October 8, 2010
Cain was better this year
FitzFan - October 8, 2010
More importantly
Who’s playing 2BUmp?
J-Freak - October 8, 2010
Can't get much worse than the one tonight
Ray Charles
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
Thats unfair to Ray
I think he’d have got that call right
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010
I don't know
We haven’t seen Stevie Wonder yet, he may see some action there tomorrow night.
J-Freak - October 8, 2010
yea
but Cain has probably the worst luck in MLB
Erihury - October 8, 2010
Kenshin
Kawakami disagrees.
UMDBHIK - October 8, 2010
Hanson
Tommy disagrees as well
drumzalicious - October 8, 2010
no
he has worst luck then KK. Cain is really good just doesnt get the WINZ KK is just a pretty average pitcher
Erihury - October 8, 2010
although i dont think he has ever lost a game because the OF collided lol
Erihury - October 8, 2010
Who also doesn’t get wins. In fact, gets losses because he has to pitch damn near flawlessly.
UMDBHIK - October 8, 2010
lol yea
KK deserves better but Cain has i think the worst run support in MLB so thats good for us
Erihury - October 8, 2010
We all knew the braves we're running on fumes
Tim just reminded us of this fact. So many strike outs on shit pitches way out of the zone
RufRider - October 8, 2010
Heyward used to be more patient
He shoulda walked every AB tonight
Virginia9er - October 8, 2010
I have a feeling
Hanson will throw an epic game tomorrow. 17Ks sounds good to me.
drumzalicious - October 8, 2010
27!!
Kobe:The Legend - October 8, 2010
Won't really matter if we swing the bat like we did tonight.
Hopefully Hanson’s eye/face are ok after getting drilled with the ball earlier today.
letsgobravos - October 8, 2010
We'll be okay. They'll make adjustments tonight and be ready tomorrow.
If we won tonight and lost tomorrow, everyone would feel great about going into ATL with a split. We still have that chance. Let’s get ’em!
Kudzu Kid - October 8, 2010
more like
the will be ready to win game 4
drumzalicious - October 8, 2010
what adjustments? not swing at shit in the dirt?
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
precisely.
i’m not even kidding.
Kudzu Kid - October 8, 2010
I love the Braves.
But as currently constituted with they will be lucky to win this series and don’t have nearly enough offense to move on.
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
let's not forget that the Giants are +1 on us
Kudzu Kid - October 8, 2010
In the long run I’m saying. i don’t think the Giants can win next series either.
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
i'm an optimist, i know it...
but baseball is as temperamental as anything. We don’t have to outscore Philly in this series, just SF. And right now they’ve only managed to score one more run than we have, which even still was fluke-ish. And as I said before, if someone said we were gonna split in SF, I’m sure everyone in here would have been happy with that. We still have that opportunity…
Kudzu Kid - October 8, 2010
exactly
adjustments and this team do no belong in the same sentence
I will be glad to see someone other than Pendleton giving batting tips next year
DCP916 - October 8, 2010
Can someone cue up the "Not this shit again!" jpg?
Seriously. This was a top 5 offense in the league this year.
What more do you want?
UMDBHIK - October 8, 2010
Yunel instead of Gonzo, for starters.
J-Freak - October 8, 2010
Ok, agreed.
But tonight, I am staying upbeat. Our pitching was lights out; I think we’ll bring at least the medium-sized bats tomorrow.
SS451 - October 8, 2010
I don’t want to blame TP. There is just simply not enough quality major league hitters in this lineup right now.
bpk228480 - October 8, 2010
Exactly.
UMDBHIK - October 8, 2010
Rick
Melky
Erihury - October 8, 2010
I would've liked more than two hits
DCP916 - October 8, 2010
Hear hear!
SS451 - October 8, 2010
MLBN: “Tim Lincecum has cobra-like reflexes.”
Is that what the kids are calling The Munchies these days?
J-Freak - October 8, 2010
Another MLBN gem: “Questionable call at 2B, but it’s a stolen base nevertheless.”
No, it was a blown call at second. Not a stolen base.
J-Freak - October 8, 2010
In fact, I’m almost positive that’s the definition of NOT a stolen base.
UMDBHIK - October 8, 2010
The Damn TBS guy just tried to say he was safe!

At least Cal is still classy. Good to see he’s not catching the same boneheadedness that seems to be going around with the rest of the broadcasting crew.

but fuck 5 games series
i will never understand why MLB allows this to happen

i hate it slows the game down argument wtf it takes me 20 second to rewind my DVR
Erihury - October 8, 2010
not to be negative but please dont play rick ill strike out every time ankiel but I have a feeling we will come back big on friday !!!
cali viking - October 8, 2010
I don't want to see Brooks...in the playoffs again
Other than a PH…the guy proved he is one of the worst defenders in the playoffs/MLB
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
Yea i have to agree with that and hes not hitting shit either!!!!
cali viking - October 8, 2010
I know I said I was leaving earlier but I gotta calm down before bed, otherwise I won't stop thinkin bout this shyt!
jdmarine - October 8, 2010
Positives to remember:
Derek Lowe pitched with brass balls tonight. Yes, the Giants aren’t exactly the Phillies, but Lowe pitched a gem. Did not get helped by the ump, or the defense.
Bats will not look that bad the rest of this series. I guaranfuckingtee it.
UMDBHIK - October 8, 2010
AGREED!!!
cali viking - October 8, 2010
Message to Bobby:
Great gameplan…Tommorow vs. Matt Cain get some Gorilla Glue, and glue the players bats to their shoulders so they dont swing at low/shitty curveballs/sliders/changeups etc..
KINGSLYTUT - October 8, 2010
my fear is exactly the opposite...
that they come out tomorrow not staring at everything. That can be equally frustrating…
Kudzu Kid - October 8, 2010
the braves are weird
they either take strikes or swing at crap in the dirt. When we play good its a pretty good medium

Good night all. Remember, this is not a one and done series OR a one and done team. They've still got some fight...
GO BRAVES!!
Kudzu Kid - October 8, 2010
Lincecum wasn't that great today
No game plan at all by the hitters. Swinging at shit in the dirt. I will NOT “tip my cap” to this motherfucker. But you know the Braves will.
Honestly
Gonzalez
Diaz
Conrad
Ankiel
aka our 5-8 hitters have no business starting for a MLB team, let alone a playoff team.
