… i could throw up im so disgusted with the events of last night
Overall outlook for the future? Still an 8… This franchise has so much young talent and Wren always seems to make decent personnel decisions regardless of how unpopular they may be
I’m not throwing up the white flag yet in the postseason, but the air is out of the balloon. The third win is not in the bag yet for San Fran and this team has been full of surprises all year. I have not really been a baseball fan my whole life, but this year this team made me fall in love with the game. I can honestly say I am now a lifer.
6.. with Conrad in the line up and I would say 7 if he is just a PH.
Last night will probably cover the spectrum of emotions one can feel in one inning, game, series, season. I can honestly say the bottom of the 8th is why I love baseball so much, and the top of the 9th is what makes it so heartbreaking. So many decisions, pitches, and plays go into the outcome of a game. This is one of the toughest Braves losses I’ve ever been through in 20+ years as a baseball and Braves fan. I still have hope for the Braves, a win today and it becomes a one-game series again!
alot of what the Braves have done this year has been done on guts and heart. Intangibles becuase our tangibles have been weak at best all year. This team is not a mega scoring team. Our strongest asset has been our pitching with the starting and back end being the strongest. We were built to win with pitching and we have. We were never meant to be a 10 run team. We have been doing what we’re built to do. Win close games and play everyone tough. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. We made it to the wild card and we haven’t been swept. We still have a chance to win and I don’t care who Bobby puts on the field, I believe in this team and I believe they can play the game they were built to play. They can beat the Giants tonight at home and they can beat Lincecum in SF. Not because they are more talented, but because they are a team built on great pitching, guts and heart. Injuries aside, we’re not the deepest team. Got it… Our guys can do this and they will. Just watch.
I’m staying at 8. I know everyone’s pissed about yesterday, but as Chad and Jeremy used to sing, “that was yesterday, and yesterday’s gone”. I know the tendency for baseball fans is to look for who’s to blame, but let’s forget it for now and win this sucker.

Too many injuries. Too many bad manager’s decisions. Try again next year.

For this series, probably a 5. If by chance we get to the NLCS, a 2.

How can you forget how shitty McOut is when he continues to play? It's too bad that the Hey Train didn't knock his ass out for the year.
