Atlanta Braves Fan Confidence Poll

If it's Friday, then it's the Atlanta Braves fan confidence poll. This poll and therefore your confidence level should encompasses several areas of the team. These areas include, but are not limited to, the team’s ownership, current management, talent, minor-league system, and general playing ability on the field. The poll will stay open for 48 hours, and then the results will be posted and graphed against the previous weeks.

this should be good.

I don’t have the confidence that I have the ability to be objective at this point, so I’m going to abstain.

I’m sick of Bobby Cox and his braindead bullpen management and his love affair with Greg Norton so 5.

Don't expect that to get any better

Cox Confident in Struggling Norton

I don’t hence the low vote this week.

I voted 6 and I usually vote 10.

That’s bad. Too many bad decisions being made recently. If we lose 2/3 this weekend or something (which would be the norm) that’ll be it.

My confidence has slipped back to 6, and it’s going lower if Bobby continues his boneheaded moves. Overworking half of the bullpen while everyone else sits, leaving guys in long after it’s obvious that they can’t get anyone out, pinch-hitting Norton when he’s got a bench full of better alternatives, and there are probably things that we’re not aware of that are preventing the Braves from winning consistently. Might as well kiss the postseason goodbye if the Braves can’t sweep the Reds this weekend.

2 losses won’t make me change my vote. I am not fickle like that.

8 again for me.

Not 2 losses……mis-managing.

This. And same vote. We’re miles ahead of where we thought we’d be at the beginning of the season, and there is hope for some surprises.

wow, its almost a perfect statistical distribution right now

The domain is available. I don’t have time to set it up, but it would be an easy blog to write. The last two games were terrible.

I’m still voting 8. I’m stunned that we’re still in contention. I gave up after the Padres debacle. This season doesn’t change the fact we have great young pitching and very talented prospects.

4.

The Braves just cannot get it together. Yes, it’s a minor sports miracle that we’re even in the conversation, but we just continue to meander. Yes, we have the pitching. But even great pitching gets tired, and this is lost upon Bobby Cox. What’s the point of expanding rosters if you’re going to continue to use the same 3 guys night-in and night-out? That’s just bad managing. Why continue to PH Greg “I-forgot-what-a-hit-feels-like” Norton? This is just maddening.

And this series is a prime example of why I so dislike 4-game sets. We split the series and it’s as if the 4 games never happened, because we’re right where we were beforehand: tied with the Fish. And did we actually lose a game to the Rockies in the WC standings in the process? UGH. I don’t feel like looking up where we were 4 days ago. This is so frustrating.

right where we were when we started is better than being behind.

i really hope that everyone realizes that we will definitely not make the playoffs this year.

My confidence is 1 and I would have picked 0 if I could have.

nick9314 is not the f-ing man.

I just don't have anymore hope.

so because you think that the mlb club won’t make the playoffs (a fair assumption at this point) you rate the entire organization as a “1”?

That doesn’t make sense – especially considering that most people had us pegged to finish with a sub .500 record, in 4th place in the division and completely out of the playoff race at this point in the season.

The fact that we have the best rotation in baseball, the best prospect in all of baseball, a completely different OF than when we started the season and a great bench should be reason enough to have at LEAST a “5” confidence rating in the organization as a whole, which is what this poll is inquiring to.

Fair enough

I didn’t take the time to read the instructions and I always thought that it was about confidence in this season. But yeah, I guess I’m at more of a 4-6.
