Derek Lowe goes up against Darn Haren tonight in what could turn out to be a battle of staff aces. The Diamondbacks are currently 4th in the very bad NL West but they are 6-4 in their last 10 games and their offense is prone to break out with 9 and 10 runs games (as we learned in a 12-0 lost a couple weeks ago).
As of writing this (@ 1:30), there is no word yet on what Chipper and Escobar will be up to tonight. Chipper's toe has been giving him some discomfor lately and he posted his first career 4 K game yesterday. Escobar's hip is still bothering him though he has been able to take some batting practice in the past few days. Hopefully we will see him tonight.
Something really needs to shake up the offense.

i love that. “nameless right fielder”
so FYF has now become NRF.

BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
I thought Escobar was in the lineup
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
Well obviously he isn’t but I thought I read on DOB’s blog that he was
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
Who believes him anymore smh!!!
That a boy - May 28, 2009
Just said on TV that he wanted to be in there tonight, but hip was still hurting during BP.
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
So much for the diory hernandez leadoff experiment
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
I’m glad to see Heap after Chipper instead of FUGA
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
why is his nickname heap?
BravesRaleigh - May 28, 2009
http://braveslove.blogspot.com/2008/04/more-fun-with-google.html
why call mccann heap?
- A nickname given by his minor-league teammates, we’ve heard it comes from several sources. One, he can sleep anywhere, anytime, two, he’s…not the neatest boy, and three, he eats “heaps” of food.
Lizziebeth - May 28, 2009
lol ty
BravesRaleigh - May 28, 2009
I heard a third reason for it
yondaime4 - May 28, 2009
heard or spied on him?
Lizziebeth - May 28, 2009
listen here what I do on my own time is none of your damn business and I’ll thank you to stay out of my personal affairs.
But yes, there may have been some spying.
yondaime4 - May 28, 2009
lol
Smoltz's Beard - May 28, 2009
mmm hmmm. just sayin’.
Lizziebeth - May 28, 2009
How is your brother?
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
Hey HeyJude, thanks for asking. It was a very long day, but he’s home resting and doing well.
He’ll have a few uncomfortable days, but should heal quickly.
Alarm was 4:15 am this morning, so I’m running on fumes for this late start…hopefully the Braves offense will explode and make it an exciting game and keep me awake.
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
If you don’t mind me asking, what happened?
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
He had an unexpected hernia rupture in his groin. They repaired it today and doc said by 4 weeks he should be back to his usual work/activities. His first EVER surgery and visit to the hospital (never broken a bone, had stitches or even major dental work) and he’s 35 – so today was major deal to him LOL.
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
Wow, I hope everything goes ok with that. It must have been nice not having any surgery until you were 35 though
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
Yeah, I had to bust him and tell him “Welcome to the Surgery Scars Club” ;-)
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
Rupture and groin are two words a man never wants to hear in the same sentence. I’m glad he is ok though!
mvandonsel - May 28, 2009
Appreciate that. Let’s just say, he was bitchin’ all day about the “boys” being sore as hell and cussin’ as he put the ice packs on (their proximity is obviously close enough to be affected by the whole ordeal).
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
What the heck? I’ve got the Gwinnet Braves on TV.
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
So yeah, I’ve about had it with this team. There’s no way to explain this inconsistency other than our outfield sucks. Wren better make a move before we go from 3 games back to 13 games back.
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
If Wren were to trade for a bat, who would you guys give up; or better yet, who for you would be “untouchable”
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
Untouchable: Heap, Lowe, Jurgens
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
Hanson, Johnson, Freeman, Heyward from the minors. I wouldn’t mind anyone on the major league roster being traded except for Mac, Chip, Kotch, and the rotation.
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
Johnson being Cody? I’d give him up in a heatbeat
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
Not in a heartbeat, but yeah I guess I wouldn’t really care if he got traded
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
kotch???
nick9314 - May 28, 2009
gosh guys
use the trading thread for this…i have about had it with all of the tradegasms and rosterbating that I can handle.
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
Sorry :(
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
Who do we need to trade to get Dunn?

Chipper fails again
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
I’m starting to think perhaps he’s hurting us right now more than helping with his limitation with the dogs.
Maybe a 4 game rest until we return to ATL might be better in the long run.

drumzalicious - May 28, 2009

the 3-run hr in his first game
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
I have a gut feeling Frenchy is on his way out…….
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
Why does your gut give you this thought
That a boy - May 28, 2009
I saw him in an interview before the game and frenchy said he would play for any team in the MLB that wanted him…kinda strange comment.
Plus a ton of rumors… not looking to good for him here in ATL.
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
HeyJude
OT – but had to tell you I have your “Life, Love Laugh” on a plaque on the wall in my kitchen.
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
Happy I’m not getting chewed up and spit out about it!
Last night my last one sent someone in a darn rage.
I changed it as not to offend this person again!!
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
Some people take trivial things waaaay too seriously. I don’t know what you had before, but dang.
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
It was a really sweet quote……but since I don’t always say sweet things on here……I should not have it as my signature.
My hubby is a cool guy but he was———mad!
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
Gotta have some “spice” with the “sweet” .. or life would be boring.
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
Amen!
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
well....
I wasn’t in a rage by any means, nor was I offended, and I did apologize for being a little testy, and told you why, but oh well.
sddbaker - May 28, 2009
The stolen base inning.

bigjoe - May 28, 2009
What is this that you speak of?
Uninvited - May 28, 2009
Series in Baltimore. A few of us are meeting up there to make complete fools of ourselves.
Smoltz's Beard - May 28, 2009
Awesome.
Baltimore is definitely on my list of places/ballparks to see. I was hoping to be able to sneak down there for that series and then over to Boston for that series since I’m much closer now than when I lived in Atlanta, but that’s not going to happen…
Uninvited - May 28, 2009
I believe there are more coming.
mvandonsel - May 28, 2009
17483 said he’ll be there
Smoltz's Beard - May 28, 2009

Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
maybe he should have tried to bunt or something
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
You know I will not blame that strike out on Frenchy for two pitches before that the ump called a bs strike and he had to swing at that one.
That a boy - May 28, 2009
he had to?…did you see where that pitch was…or are you on gameday?
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
No Im not but that was a strike on game day the “called one”
That a boy - May 28, 2009

ooo thats right bc its been 3 weeks since hes had one and his obp is down to under .320
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
But would he draw as many if the pitcher wasn’t after him?
NCChopper - May 28, 2009

Smoltz's Beard - May 28, 2009
Indeed
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Pretty fucking awful. But the Phillies game at the begining of the year is still worse IMO
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
are you referring to our inconsistent BP?

Yeah Kelly!
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
Nice Kelly
MatM - May 28, 2009
Yeah, game over.
Guess what, this team SUCKS. The early success we experienced was anomalous. Kawakami is going to have an awful year, we are going to regret not signing Dunn, Schafer is up in the MLB too early, Francoeur shouldn’t be a starter, our first baseman has NO power (like the rest of our lineup), Gonzo isn’t what he used to be, and Medlen isn’t as special as everyone on here made him out to be.
Just needed to get that out of my system…
nick9314 - May 28, 2009
dont be a negative nancy
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
Can’t bash Kotchman. He’s been one of our best
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
I’d laugh pretty hard if we came back to win tonight
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
chill dude.
We’re not great, but we arent bad either. and the future is fine
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
Did you expect Casey to hit 30 bombs this year? You can’t blame him.
Smoltz's Beard - May 28, 2009
Power HR’s arent needed when you hit 2B’s every where. They are a nice thing to see happen but if we could get guys that just made contact we would be good instead of all these swinging K’s
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
God. Klutch got robbed. our luck
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
Yay, another break that doesn’t go our way
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
i guess….but i really feel you make your own breaks…and this team makes so many bad plays and decisions they don’t deserve a lot of breaks
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
What luck?
nick9314 - May 28, 2009
CHIPPER!!! ABOUT DAMN TIME
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
He just did that a couple of games ago too

justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
is he still over .300?
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
.310 to be exact…even with his 0-5 slump
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
with 4 HRs
and a OBP of .425 coming into the game tonight and a slg of .472
Chip is fine.
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
oh

Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
Agreed. After FUGA it’s strikeout central
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
how sad is it that D-Lo should be batting 6th tonight?
Rhyno18 - May 28, 2009
Whats sad is i have more hope in Diory than FYF and Logan
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Diory>Logan>Lowe>FYF
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
lol only bc of his small sample size
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
I’d have more hope in this team if Heyward was in the lineup right now.
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
True, but..
you just lamented rushing Schafer, we CANT make that mistake with Heyward
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
this.
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
Seems like he is moving better. Toe must not be hurting him tonight
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Glavine went five scoreless today?
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
NO WAY
a 300 game winner who is one of the best left-handed pitchers ever can still pitch?
sorry…that was uncalled for, but I get sick of the Glavine bashers who don’t even let him throw a pitch before they crucify him…
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
i think he was just asking not down talking him . . . kinda jumped the gun a bit
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
yeah...
like i said, it was uncalled for…
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
see below for exhibit A
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
its a joke dude relax
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
on mlb 2k9?
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
God, theres not a whole lots thats a bigger turnoff than a woman with massive gums
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
Look like horses.
Huge turn off.
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
Did I miss something?
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
Some girl on Ace of Cakes
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
With glasses, the one who doesn’t actually work on the cakes.?
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
Nah, a customer
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
Whoa
who’s the big nosed gnome with Geoff?
Lizziebeth - May 28, 2009
LOL “cleaning guy” was his caption
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
creeeeepy.
Lizziebeth - May 28, 2009
5 hits in 3 innings and we only have 1 run, insane
MatM - May 28, 2009
Wow, Diory got Skills
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
strikes again, i like this kid
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Dizzy Air, with a nifty play...
nick9314 - May 28, 2009
Dizzy Air?
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
When the Braves can't make you happy, this can:
http://www.freshnews.in/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/kim-kardashian-playboy-cover.jpg
nick9314 - May 28, 2009
This is why Kenshin Kawakami is only my 2nd favorite KK.
!Vive la Francoeur! - May 28, 2009
M-Braves have 1 hit through 7. Fail
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
Jeez, is this the same guy who was an error-machine in spring training?
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
yea he’s kinda crushing right now . . . so much so i dont miss Escobar . . . well a little lol
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
The better question is. Can he play right field?
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
I would rather us shed ourselves of GA for Willingham and send Schafer down for Ankiel. Keep FYF
If the line up is bolstered in two spots he wont be as big of a liability. his arm still keeps alot of people in check
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
and schafer's d doesnt?
Schafer’s range > FYFs arm
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
Professional fail
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
Thats a nasty pitch.
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
he felt left out
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
HAHAHA
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
Don Sutton: “Jeff’s struggling a bit right now”
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
here comes joes excuses for fyf
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
God. Send freaking Schafer and Francoeur down to the minors and bring up Heyward and B. Jones and we’ll be fine. Thank you
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
Didnt Beltran have a 20+ hr 50+ sb season?
!Vive la Francoeur! - May 28, 2009
well, that was better than a K
wait, no it wasnt bc it didnt waste any of Haren’s pitches…
FYF’s OBP is .274…that is pathetic.
call me crazy, but I don’t remember him getting on base at least once a game…
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
hey fyf…did you see a star like upton run into a wall trying to make a play?
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
Frenchy’s defense has still been good, he won a gold glove. His offense is just terrible
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
LOL Gold Glove
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
only the best get them
people like Jeter and Wright
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
I for one think Frenchy’s range is pretty shitty
MatM - May 28, 2009
i concur
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
as are his routes
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
Its not his defense
That a boy - May 28, 2009
i remember him short arming a ball near the fould line last week that was definitely catchable…plus the fact he plays short right field and misplays balls over his head…and the grand slam he knocked over the wall
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
In better news, Magic are beating the Cavs end of the 3rd. :D
BigG1392 - May 28, 2009
and the line on them was +300-ish
i took that in a heartbeat!
justincredubil02 - May 28, 2009
Oh jesus Kelly
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
All Thumbs at it again
Lizziebeth - May 28, 2009
ATJ
nick9314 - May 28, 2009
Braves Baseball
where WTF happens!
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
What the hell just happened my stream isnt great
MatM - May 28, 2009
Derek lowes face, lol no emotion at all
That a boy - May 28, 2009
OH MY GOD THANKS KELLY
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
More fantastic defense by Schafer
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
I <3 Sportsouth’s broadcast tonigt…
Poohjure - May 28, 2009
fuck fuck fuck fuck dont kick me off yondaime4
That a boy - May 28, 2009
Lowe is getting killed by his D
MatM - May 28, 2009
Why the hell did FUGA glide over and stop to let Schafer take the ball?
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
every mistake the braves make is taken advantage of…something the braves don’t do
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
Lowe gave Kelly a look that would kill!
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
so . . . yea . . .
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
What the hell
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
I am lucky enough to see one frame every 40 seconds on TV…guess it is gameday time.
Poohjure - May 28, 2009
The score just went final in Arizona, the braves drop 4 straight…
nick9314 - May 28, 2009
Tack another one on!
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
i hate this team
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
back to work now
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
Yeah um, I’m gonna go on and get out of here now
bigjoe - May 28, 2009
could REALLY use that cobra now
Zeus12888 - May 28, 2009
braves should just play 6 innings like in little league….thats about as long as i’ve been watching lately
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
These guys are 12.5 back and horrible in OBP – and yet again, what do we see?
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
We make them look Great!
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
We may put together a run sometime this year, but I am starting to seriously doubt this team. Some of the problems could be easily fixed, such as getting rid of Frenchy and FUGA. I got an idea, let’s put Kelly in left and platoon Diaz and Swagga in right.
MatM - May 28, 2009
Now were just getting unlucky
MatM - May 28, 2009
pretty much
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
They’re hitting balls and good pitches….Lowe is pitching better than the scoreboard.
Dinking them and slap hitting pitches off the plate. We haven’t done that much since Furcal.
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
I bet the losing teams love to see us come into town!
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
...... time to change the channel....
bravesfan1047 - May 28, 2009
ok down three was impossible for tonight…but down four we’re going to need a whole series
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
Kelly I fucking hate you
MatM - May 28, 2009
d lowe taking matters into his own hands
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
Our defense
is getting as bad as our offense…..almost!
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
I really don't want to just piss and moan about this team every night but.....
I know it gets tiresome reading frustration all the time – but can someone give me a reason to remain optimistic about this team and the months to come?
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
schafer just made contact
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
lol, it’s funny, but that’s probably the best thing right now
MatM - May 28, 2009
I concur…..
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
1st pitch swinging? really?
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Everytime Haren goes through his delivery I think my stream has frozen lol
MatM - May 28, 2009
joe…the braves won’t take lowe off the hook…i know its their job to be optomists but come on
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
Damn. Our 1/2 innings aren’t even time enough to take a pee.
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
If we don’t make a couple of moves soon, this team will be a lost cause.
MatM - May 28, 2009
how did we get in this predicament in the first place?….overvaluing the players we already had? the braves were good for a couple of years if i remember correctly
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
We don’t necessarily need to make trades, but we need to get rid of Frenchy and Kelly has been bad at 2nd, he should be in LF. We have a pretty good farm system.
MatM - May 28, 2009
so . . .he makes one error tonight and you want to get rid of him at 2B? what about Schafer? Esco’s Errors? Macs Passed balls? come on. a guy makes an error you dont trade him.
Now if your going to talk about us not scoring runs thats a diff story
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Kelly’s d has been shaky for a long time
MatM - May 28, 2009
http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=2234&position=2B
His 09 UZR is +2.1.
SeeingStars - May 29, 2009
so . . . Lowe . . . is not gettng unlucky now
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
I think he is pretty disgusted with his teammates right now.
MatM - May 28, 2009
so i guess we just teleport to get all those balls last inning. yea KJ made an error. aside from that those hits were just falling
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
You know, i always hate when the Braves go on the West Coast road trip. There’s always the “how late do i stay up?” decision to make. But thank you Braves! I haven’t had to worry about it at all this week.
10-4 - May 28, 2009
The Braves are going to go 0fer on this road trip
Then when all hope is lost they will win just enough games to hover around .500 to continue the mediocrity
UltimaParadox - May 28, 2009
always happens. i mean whats sad is that every other team on a skid is going down with injuries. Phililes have no starters. Mets are losing core players left and right.
We suck with our full rotation, bullpen, and Lineup. Esco goes out we still suck. Chip goes out we are garbage.
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
I think even Bobby knows that Frenchy’s days are limited, but I doubt Schafer is going anywhere.
UltimaParadox - May 28, 2009
If they have the balls to sit the fans golden boy they need to sit the other ones stinking it up.
Seriously. either we re-haul our lineup or we have a firesale. plain and simple. we wont get by tolerating mediocrity.
Schafer is not cutting it. DEF or not he isnt cutting it he is a liability and in fact the last two games he has taken bad routes all over the place.
I would rather have less range in CF, More in LF and keep FYF than continue with this crap.
Ankiel and Willingham need to be our CF and LF. end of discussion.
Our bullpen will hopefully be better with Campillo and Acosta but our offense is terrible.
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Ankiel and Willingham? Come on, they aren’t worth what they’d cost.
MatM - May 28, 2009
The sad part is now we have to overpay to get people to play in Atlanta
UltimaParadox - May 28, 2009
Both of their values are down it woudnt be that hard. the nats want some arms and we have some to spare.
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Oh yea and they aren’t that good.
MatM - May 28, 2009
really? ok . .
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Ankiel: .247/.323/.400
Willingham: .228/.355/.465
Nothing to write home about. Ankiel isn’t worth much and Willingham while he is a decent bat, he isn’t the impact bat we need and not worth the price tag.
MatM - May 28, 2009
right . . . sure wish our OF had numbers like that.
How about their XBH
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
3 more fail in the 7th
Well, that’s all I’m willing to give them of my life tonight.
Slumber awaits…… nite all.
NCChopper - May 28, 2009
me toooo….night everybody
bpk228480 - May 28, 2009
Get you some well deserved rest tonight!
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
Make a Prediction
Will Escobar ground into more double plays than FYF gets extra base hits
UltimaParadox - May 28, 2009
This team sucks. That is all.
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
This is what the Spainards call el terrible.
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
The last 3 games, one stupid inning has screwed us over
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
whine, whine, whine
whine, whine, whine
I can’t take you people anymore.
sddbaker - May 28, 2009
amen
mvandonsel - May 28, 2009
What do you want us to say, this team is playing like shit right now.
MatM - May 28, 2009
Another good start from Lowe, 7 innings, 3 ER
MatM - May 28, 2009
These were the days.
5/28/06
The Cubs scored four in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game, but lost in 11 innings, 13-12, when a popup bounced off Aramis Ramirez’s head. The wind was blowing out at Wrigley and the Braves set a team record with eight home runs, including two each by Chicago native Adam LaRoche and Edgar Renteria. The Cubs hit none.
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
I remember watching that game
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
Haren stumbled, might have rolled his ankle.
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
Ha, Haren fell down throwing the ball and Schafer still swung at it.
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
he throws one down the middle and he doesnt swing
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
K, Schafer.
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
Our 6-7-8 hitters are batting .167.
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
on the year?
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
I think over the last 20 games or something like that. I forget the length of time.
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
they are so good. . . man i love those bottom guys . . . you know FYF, Schafer. just drives in all the runs
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
you cant win games when 1/3 of your line up are not major league quality hitters… simply is not going to happen
Circle - - May 28, 2009
YES KJ!!
Isnt it sad that we have to wait till the lineup rolls over
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
This just in, Lebron James is money.
mvandonsel - May 28, 2009
He is unbe-freakin-lieveable
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
you see that he scored or assisted on 32 straight points.
mvandonsel - May 28, 2009
That shouldn’t be possible
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
yeah, I don’t know, dude is some kind of savage.
mvandonsel - May 28, 2009
Can we trade FYF for him?
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
He would be a massive RF
mvandonsel - May 28, 2009
Lebron would at least walk more
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
The other day I played softball against Matt Barnes from the Suns, he could hit like a MoFo
mvandonsel - May 28, 2009
I’m pretty sure he could play TE in the NFL.
mvandonsel - May 28, 2009
We Scored!!
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Koth singles Kelly in, 5-2.
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
Ah well, we tried
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
Right down the middle. GD
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
hopefully their closer has a brad lidge moment
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
is it just me or does GA not seem to care when he is going after those balls
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
My name is Garrett Anderson and I don’t run on TV.
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
pick off!
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
I love Boog. “Where are ya goin?”
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
WTF? Was it just the stream that slowed down or did Boog’s voice lower a few octaves?
BullManUGA - May 28, 2009
I think this is the best uniform combination tonight: the classic grey with the new all navy hat. What about ya’ll?
Bravely going forward - May 28, 2009
I like the blue jerseys, though I am probably in the minority
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
it’s definately cool as shit
Bravely going forward - May 28, 2009
I like the red but with a different cap
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
From Keith Law’s chat:
James (LA): You’re leaning draft, but you are always down to take a shot at the horrible right fielder in Atlanta. When are they going to get rid of him?!?!?!
SportsNation Keith Law: They tried to get him to leave, but they told him to “take a walk,” and he was just hopelessly confused.
eaheckman10 - May 28, 2009
Wow so their whole Infield just turned into supermen
drumzalicious - May 28, 2009
GA was safe at first!
HEYJUDE - May 28, 2009
“You know what, there are thirty teams in baseball and I’d be honored to play for any of them…”
Bravely going forward - May 29, 2009
well, get the fuck out
Bravely going forward - May 29, 2009
I heard that comment and thought the same thing……but could we be so lucky??
HEYJUDE - May 29, 2009
The Babe is up. He will hit a homer.
BullManUGA - May 29, 2009
so. . . . . . yea . . goodnight
drumzalicious - May 29, 2009
K to end the game by FYF. May it be his last in a Braves uniform.
BullManUGA - May 29, 2009
Frenchy strikes out to end the game!
HEYJUDE - May 29, 2009
how fitting.
drumzalicious - May 29, 2009
no shit.
