So apparently our bats have decided to stick their collective heads in the ground. We knew this team was a bit streaky, but Jesus! It is really all or nothing this year. Is it the presence or absence of Chipper that makes the difference? I, nor anyone else, has a clue. I guess we'll see what Jo-Jo can do today, but odds are he'll do great, and the bats...

Ain't got no aircraft carriers!
I think this team is just hell bent on proving the ESPN experts wrong so they’ll purposely do the opposite of whatever they predict, even if it means losing.

We had our chances last night
We had plenty of chances last night to score some runs… Between the unlucky double play Shafer hit into and the infield fly rule…. it just wasn’t our night. At least we had chances to score.
I don’t know how many we LOB last night but the number has to be 6-7 plus.
Maholm pitched well and he is very under the radar as a premier pitcher. His ERA is below 1.0 this season. J.J. looked fantastic.also.
