First they trade away the farm for pitching and now they go out and get this guy. After hitting .254 for the Cubs last year when he was dealt, Hollandsworth hit only .171 the rest of the way for the Braves. This year he's hitting just .237, and he'll probably only be a pinch hitter of the bench. I always hate these moves. I think they mess with team chemistry too much. The only one I can ever remember working out real well was the Mike Devereaux move, and that only paid dividends in the postseason.
The Reds fans think it an equally stupid move.
