Talking Chop

I was able to get around to many of the Braves players this weekend and ask them to reflect on their first half performance and look ahead to what they will be focusing on in the second half. I asked four basic questions; (1) how would you rate your personal first half performance, (2) what are you looking to improve upon or focus on in the second half, (3) what do you like most about this Braves team, (4) and what do you like the least. I did deviate from some of these questions, and I did expand upon many of them, but for the most part these were the questions I posed to the players.

Here is the schedule for this week and when I should get each player's self-assessment posted:

Monday - Bobby Cox talks about the first half, and self-assessments from Ryan Langerhans, Macay McBride, and Tim Hudson.
Tuesday - Wilson Betemit, Matt Diaz, Adam LaRoche, and Jeff Francoeur.
Wednesday - Minor League Roundup: with commentary from John Schuerholz.
Thursday - Brian McCann, Marcus Giles, and Chipper Jones.
Friday - John Smoltz, Oscar Villarreal, Andruw Jones, and Jorge Sosa (via commentary from Andruw Jones).
